**Today I learned**
While watching YouTube in Brave #browser and want to watch a video in PIP mode (Picture in Picture), you can right click anywhere on video (a menu appears). Now right click on video but not on menu again and select Picture-in-picture.
*Try to avoid using browser extensions for this kind of stuff coz they could be malicious!*

Quiting Coffee π It's #almostimpossible mission
I use google lens for QR codes because it's hard to scan the code when it's on your screen π. Only nostr:npub1chuck64mdhk6fupmr8yg3eaud8e5jg7ztyz58fdsg9kffw3x6s9qf8394t can scan the QR code on his screen with the same phone.
I took the screenshot like I usually do and share it with the lens app. The QR code is not recognized. It give me similar results that are mostly weird architectures.
How much do I have to zap nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s to get a PWA version built of Damus? π

start here with #FCC then think of something what you want to build and start building it. Freecodecamp.org
I copied and pasted your note into my friend ChatGPT. I thought It will not stop outputing π my answer would be much shorter which is "Yes" π

A web app can indeed store data locally using web storage technologies. There are two main methods for local data storage in web apps:
1. **Web Storage (localStorage and sessionStorage):** These are mechanisms provided by web browsers that allow web apps to store data on the user's device. localStorage provides persistent storage, meaning the data will persist even when the browser is closed and reopened. sessionStorage, on the other hand, provides temporary storage that is available only for the duration of the browser session.
2. **IndexedDB:** IndexedDB is a more advanced local storage option available in modern web browsers. It is a NoSQL database that allows web apps to store large amounts of structured data locally. IndexedDB provides more advanced querying and indexing capabilities compared to web storage.
With these local storage mechanisms, web apps can store and retrieve data such as user preferences, cached content, or even offline data for use when there is no internet connection. This allows web apps to provide a better user experience by functioning even when offline or with limited connectivity.
Regarding the distinction between a web app and a native app, a web app is essentially a website that is designed and built to behave like a traditional desktop or mobile app. It is accessed through a web browser and can run on different devices and platforms without the need for separate codebases. Web apps are typically built using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and can be bookmarked or added to the home screen for easy access. However, they still require an internet connection to load the app code and fetch data from remote servers, although certain parts of the app can be designed to work offline using local storage as mentioned above. Native apps, on the other hand, are specifically built for a particular platform (e.g., iOS, Android) and are usually downloaded and installed from an app store. Native apps have direct access to the device's hardware and can offer more extensive functionality compared to web apps, but they require separate development efforts for each platform.
I'm lucky I never had a tick once in my life while others I know get them constantly. I probably need to be studied because I'm in nature all the time and in the region where we have the most cases of meningoencephalitis.
These tiny fuckers can ruin your life with their dirty mouth. The virus they spread can fuck your nervous system so you might need to learn to walk, eat, or hold thing again.
And it all comes from a tiny little bug bite.

Oh, if only we'd all focus on building services for the plebs by the plebs the world would be much more pleasant.

You can do it in 2 minutes.
But I still must come up with a way to filter out spam, probably using managed relays.
Awesome thanks π«

Is there a simple way (for a weekend warrior) to implement writing notes on a webpage. Like nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 is doing on his website with notes that anyone can write at the bottom π€
This will come super handy for my rainy days future projects or upgrades.
