I'm super into natural buildings but where I live, you will not get a building permit if you decide to build your home with straw bales or earthbags for example. One of my friends tried to build an earthbag house but bureaucracy and laws said no way because it's not "safe" enough!
I'm also a bit sceptical about how is this straw insulation protected against mouses. Many little living creatures loves to make their little homes and tiny neighborhoods in straw. All they need to start building is one little hole somewhere.
Electricity glitch or especially lightening strike will destroy such house in seconds.
A home should have as little "what if's" as possible.
But damn it really looks nice at the end. It fits perfectly into this beautiful landscape.
