A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. ~ Proverbs 18:2

Testing out the Primal Android app. promising.

Here's a blog post about it.

https://soapbox.pub/blog/mostr-fediverse-nostr-bridge/

> The bridge acts as an ActivityPub server and a Nostr client.

> It has an ActivityPub inbox which converts data into Nostr events which it pushes to a relay. It listens on the relay and federates ActivityPub data for relevant Nostr events.

Yeah, looks completely automated.

Yeah that's my guess. Do you have any reason to say that?

Just noticed some Mastodon users are on Nostr. Looks like this is coming from the mostr.pub bridge. Are these folks aware their content is on Nostr or is this completely passive?

Money is not evil. The love of money is. That is to say, greed. Greed is in our hearts because we love ourselves above all else. This is true of all people no matter how good or bad their money of choice is. No matter how much or how little they have. We all have idols in our lives that we must lay aside. I don't know how many bitcoiners worship money but I know I need God's help. I cannot overcome my greed on my own.

Any student of the Bible will tell you it is full of comparisons to express truth.

The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. This has always been true and it is no more or less true of bitcoiners. Greed consumes us.

I really think there is a place for therapy but I think we make a mistake when we don't realize how deeply broken our families and society have become. In healthy families and communities we would not need so much therapy or rather we would not need CLINICAL therapy in a healthy society.

I could be wrong but that's my impression.

Yeah, I'm wary of over spiritualizing many things. Learning about how bitcoin was designed and the principle behind it give me a new lens for many topics though. Thanks for sharing.

Too many people have given Elon a pass. Don't give him a pass.

He's a marketer, not a founder or an engineer. He didn't found PayPal or Tesla; he bought into them early. He's good at selling narratives and equity valuation for perpetually unprofitable companies.

Everything for him is a narrative. His green revolution was a narrative to sell more cars and get more subsidies. His bitcoin purchase was to gain appeal among bitcoin/crypto people in a bull market. And he shilled doge like a dumbass. His SpaceX narrative is to get money from the government.

His rooftop solar thing was an outright scam; the technology isn't ready and went nowhere because of that. His full-self-driving-in-an-intermediate-term timeline was a scam, and is going nowhere because of that. He makes scams to draw people and capital in, because for him it's all about narratives and equity valuation.

And then he dug unproductive holes, suggested unproductive hyper-tubes, built meme flamethrowers, for what? It's a narrative, not a business. None of this is real productive shit to make peoples' lives better.

His latest "we need free speech" narrative was a scam too. He tapped into something real, which is what marketers do and why it kind of worked. Yes, we need free speech. Yes, Twitter had censorship issues. He saw that and jumped on it maliciously rather than productively.

But what did he replace it with? He replaced it with arbitrary journalist censorship about his private jet, arbitrary censorship of Substack, selective Twitter Files release, won't talk seriously about any of his China connections because Xi Jinping fucking owns him economically there like Jack Ma, has his balls firmly in his grasp, etc.

Elon's playing the narrative, the anti-woke meme of the day. He's a master meme-momentum-player. Don't fall for it.

Went to see Sound of Freedom. Its a heavy film. Well done. Not comfortable to watch but very glad it is being seen by so many people. The reaction by some against this film is quite astounding. For those that have been hearing all the nonsense about this movie. It is not political at all. The people writing these reviews calling it Q-anon are either incapable to seeing the world through a sane lens or are actively trying to discourage progressive people from seeing the movie for other reasons. Either way, these people should do some soul searching.

The funny thing about all this "backlash" about this movie is that had the press ignored this movie I would have probably just watched it at home in a year or two but do to the extreme reaction I wanted to see it for myself. Years of observing the media has taught me to be very skeptical and look at things for myself. I suggest everyone go see this film for two reasons.

1. We should be aware of trafficking and take action to help stop it.

2. We should support content that the status quo does not want us to see.

If you've seen the film would love to hear your thoughts.

Proof of work in James 2:14-17:

> What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good[a] is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Was thinking about the lack of value in our thoughts and opinions that our culture is so obsessed with. Also thinking about how much fakeness there is in the world when this passage came to mind. It is not the works that EARN salvation. This is clear from scripture but if you are living in Christ the proof of this fact will be evident. I think that is what James is saying here. It is easy to say things but the proof is in the work. Wild how bitcoin gives me new angles on things I've known for years.

Money is a tool we use to store our time and energy. Its kinda like a battery for your life energy. We have a leaky battery called fiat money. Many of the problems politicians claim to want to solve are caused by bad money. Bitcoin is a good battery. #Bitcoin fixes this.

Now that's my kind of proof of steak!
