Ahh, ok. I guess my 717 sats are gone. However will I recover? 😂

What’s the best way to find alternative mints?

If you already enjoy #eNuts, you will fall even more deeply in love with it soon. Here are some of the highlights we are working on:

- Simplified payment flows

- Improved seed restore process

- Support for device local-authentication (PIN, fingerprint, facial recognition, depending on the user's device settings)

- Expanded color variations for each theme, along with additional themes

- Russian and Chinese translations

- Major navigation improvements and bug fixes

- Significant UX enhancements and a fresh polished UI, providing a much smoother native experience on both Android and iOS platforms

Plus, we are enhancing the project maintainability by implementing crucial end-to-end test suites 🤓

Prioritizing improvements to existing codebase over adding new protocol elements.

I’m getting an “Error requesting invoice from mint” when I try and estimate fees before generating an outbound payment. Any ideas? My iOS app is up to date.

Is there a way for me to use my current key pair as a parent to generate additional child key pairs that I could use around the internet?

For example, I may want to use a service that allows me to pay sats via LN on-demand to generate an image, or privately download and summarize a YouTube video, and I may not want it tied to my sethforbtc npub. I may want to generate new keys every time I transact or use a new service, but who wants to keep track of hundreds of key pairs? I want them all to roll up to my main key, but maintain my privacy.

Hey nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev, what is the best model I can run locally in LLM Studio that can help me with writing/understanding SQL, DAX, etc? #AskNostr

I’d love to hear a conversation with you and Joel Valenzuela. He seems to align with all the political philosophy, but he’s against BTC and LN and is huge into shipcoins. But he’s a respectful conversationalist and he seems to have a solid technical understanding of the various crypto projects.

This discussion is excellent--pure signal. nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev has mastered the technical nuances of the Bitcoin/Altcoin debates, plus he understands the economic philosophy behind it all--the most important aspects of a monetary system. Vivek is up for it. He gave new meaning to “live stream”

I used my 3D-printed cookie cutter to make some #Bitcoin cookies for my team’s Christmas party at work.

Most of them turned out nicely, but a few BCHs and SVs snuck in there without me noticing 😉

I just used nostr:npub1wxl6njlcgygduct7jkgzrvyvd9fylj4pqvll6p32h59wyetm5fxqjchcan and nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm to schedule an automatic zap to nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev --every single day. Here’s how I understand the current limitations/recommendations related to using Nostr:

1. Don’t trust a client with your nsec.

2. Instead, use a tool that keeps your keys safe but allows you to authorize clients to sign transactions on your behalf.

Examples: Alby or nsec bunker.

3. There are no tools for mobile devices to manage #2. So you either go with an insecure method of using Nostr, or limit yourself to a desktop client. (What percentage of social media use is on mobile today, 90% +?)

Do I have this right? Are there any mobile options coming that don’t sacrifice security?
