Cattlemen Bank & Trusts have a long history of providing these services to local communities. Commodity futures markets help the Ranchers manage risks of time, but they've been co-opted by fiat speculators and manipulated by the money printers. Creating a "Circular Satoshis Economy" within the Ranchers' control will be a big upgrade and a means for their supporters to create a "Proof of Steak" system many Bitcoiners could support. 😀
I've been thinking that we should work with the Bitcoin Beef Initiatives to create Noste Identies for each cow, combining a GPS tracker and live tracking to enable "herd audits" to back a Cattle-mint that can be redeemed for meat or LN sats. Seems like a great form of commodity reserve based on proof of work empowering the Ranchers with a means of hedging and raising capital for reinvestment into maintaining and upgrading the ranch.
With a LN routing node and Nostr relay, these ranchers could evolve into semi-trusted localized food banks performing Uncle Jim and custodial solutions built on the "branded reputation".
Next time, how about I design & 3d print some branded drink coasters with embedded NFC tags that can include eCash vouchers, smart card data sharing, or LNURLp functionality. I just got my 1st batch of 100 ntags with Boltcard integrations to enable Membership bearer wallet/IDs.
Let me know if any of this interests you. Just send me the graphic for the coaster, with up to 4 colors, & I'll work up a 3d model for your approval.
If you're in the Austin area, I not only paint, but also replace any/all appliances and fixtures, resurface anything but carpet, and do framing/finish carpentry, and plumbing electrical work that doesn't require pulling permits. I've many local references and dozens of 5 star reviews if you want to see some reputational capital first.
I also offer a 20% discount on my labor rate for payment in LN sats!
This reality has brought me out of retirement back into working in residential renovations. My elders are retiring, my few peers are fully booked, and few in the generations after Gen X have been interested in acquiring trade skills.
Having a half dozen of those skill sets, and more beyond the mainstream (Permaculture, Pattern Language, & Off grid design/build/operate) allows me freedom to choose when, where, and for whom I work. It also allows me to deploy my own capital with maximum efficiency because none will do as high quality of work for me as I will for myself.
In case you missed it, the Corporate Transparency Act has come into effect in the US. It is a slow-roll attack on financial privacy.

Those who write the rules always leave themselves a solution for keeping their own privacy. There are 21 exemptions to this rule, only one of them is functionally available to most of us; non-statutory Trusts, private contracts never registered with any Secretary of State.
All other businesses now not only must provide state issued ID, but also residential addressesforr every individual owning more than 15% of a business. Basically firewalling the undocumented population behind a bureaucratic barrier to business designed to keep their families in multi-generational poverty under the boot of the surveillance state.
I can 3d print dog tags with embedded NFC tags if you'd like. Perhaps your own version of this with an NFC link to the band's Wavlake hosted music...
Pick you color, I have Nostr purple and Bitcoin orange, B/W, gold, silver, just pick your branded colors and mascot/logo/icon and reach out in my DMs. I'm also curating training materials for onboarding armies of fans into the Nostr, LN, and Bitcoin protocols.
Here's the link to my early version of these I entered in a Bolt Fun hackathon quite awhile ago.
There IS a perfect match though for private businesses and membership associations to operate Mints withoutt government or centralized rug pulls. Any organization, not serving the general public, can use eCash as an in-house accounting system. Perhaps as payroll systems that can be redeemed into LN sats on-demand by employees for saving or spending outside the 'company', using eCash within their closed system.
Private Membership Associations are another example of where semi-trusted Mint operations can manage identity, reputation, and compliance risks for Members. When joining the Club, ID has to be provided for the signature on the contract to be valid. But only to the witnesses of the contract.
Once that public/private firewall has been passed Members and the Mint are not running a MSB serving the public and therefore are NOT subjuct to the jurisdiction of the Nanny-State charged with protection of the general public. The Hosts are merely providing data storage and transmission services for the Membership.
After 30+ yrs as a War-Tax-Resistor existing solely in the cash economy I have experienced the liberation of attention freed up by not tracking, labelling, and reporting every cent earned and spent. What I didn't know couldn't be used against me, if I couldn't even track my cash flows the Nanny-State authorities couldn't either.
I've read that compliance costs add 20% to the cost of doing business. That actually seems low. There are many incalculable costs to the artificial obstructions and shrinkage to capital flows. Even the obsolete idea of 'business hours' restricts the velocity of value flow between businesses.
Just as the Gregorian method of accounting was adopted by businesses from the bottom up, despite top down desires to keep them using Roman Numerals for balancing their ledgers. The more efficient method of accounting for value exchanges will win out, eventually.
I see this as creation of more resiliency for our civilization through decentralized supply chains that can adapt to local conditions and cultures.
One of my favorite Million quotes is "True security comes only from looking out your window andseeing food growing and your neighbors working." I prefer not to see my neighbors, but to have self reliant peers nearby and would add 'data, energy, water, & waste collection/transformation/transmission systems' to my view out the window.
This works well as a short term highly secure solution. But '1 Is None', backing up your own memory somewhere at least once is proper operational security for the long haul. Some argue that while' 2 is 1, 3 is enough, 4 is best' when it comes to redundancies of essential systems. Usually, segregation and compartmentalization of risk is necessary too achieve resilient and effective security. These tactics apply in every realm we interact in; physical, contractual, digital, and virtual.
Adding 'The Permaculture Design Manual' written by Bill Mollison AND 'Patter Language Design' by Christopher Alexandria will allow you to add that open source software to your sovereignty protocols. Siegeproof sovereignty requires control over ALL your basic daily needs.
Good luck and have fun 'breaking ground'!
Been practicing self sovereign living for 30+ yrs now, since long before "social media".
To quote Bill Mollison, the founder of Permaculture, "True security only comes from looking out your window and seeing your food growing and your neighbors working."
I look forward to the day when all my neighbors are Bitcoiner who understand, value, and provide proof of work. May such a day come soon for those of us ready to stop participating in the upside down fiat clown world we were born into.
If they are smart, locking down control of the supply chain for daily basic needs should be a priority. Shelter, water, food, fuel, & waste management must be under control in order to truly be self-sovereign.
Sats are a means to an end, not the end in themselves. When cold, hungry, and thirsty without power or cooking fuel, no amount of satoshis will help. You'll still be dependent on trading your sats for these daily basic needs. Provide them for yourself and you can Hodl on to your heart's delight.
I just added a new link to my Nostree list My written work! 🎉. This nearly 5 year old resource has held up pretty well. Back then I saw the need for more privacy and transactability, so allowed for the alt-coins as a possible solution.
But Bitcoin has matured and ALL of them have become what I refer to as Zombie coins, dead projects walking looking for other's brains to feed on.
I'd made the 1st Chapter on Communications because I saw the need for uncensorable communication to defend money that had become language.
If Amazon would let me, I'd make this free in ebook form.
I may soon use Nostr to publish and update it chapter by chapter. So look for more coming soon...
I realize I am Doxxing myself here, knowingly doing so as I'm about to begin sharing educational video content here soon, too.

If you're still open to it, I have a specific long standing very loyal Austin community I'd like to introduce to Nostr with a branded client. A macrobiotic and Montessori community I think they will understand the value in cultivating their community.
As a Permaculture designer/builder I love how a www.homebiogas.com unit turns my bidet into a source of cooking fuel for the kitchen stove. Bio-char rocket stove wood gas generators turn wood chips into electricity. Just as we heat our home twice, when chopping wood and again when running a BTC Space Heater... the biogas unit fuels you twice, once from the garden and again for the stove.
What type of filament are you using?
I have just started testing ABS prints on my Bambu X1c. This seems a good choice of material for these prints. Or might you be using PETG?
Also, can you share any resources for finding a .stl library of models for us all to access and learn from?
Nostr, like Bitcoin, has more in common with the oceans than the land.
There no roads to map on the sea. We are discovering new uncharted, volatile, and unforgiving waters with both these protocols for managing the vessels carrying our data treasures.
As in international waters, our crew, our trading partners, and our vessels each have security risks to be mitigated ourselves because no one is coming to save us. Not from our selves, our trusted allies, or our counter-parties' mistakes, which often have catastrophic consequences.

Did you embed NFC tags into those dogtags?
If not, next time reach out to me and I'll 3d print these dogtags, or any other form factor you prefer. These can be turned into tap-2-connect business cards, Azteco-type OTC vouchers, or Boltcard/ring-type wallets.
