Thanks. Nostr gives that feeling of excitement I recall from the early internet and when you first start to learn about bitcoin, maybe not quite as intensely, but still there.

1. Today is my first Nostr birthday or "hatchday" - I knew nothing of Nostr then, but have learned a ton since.
2. Today starts year number two - Still learning every day and looking forward to what might come next.

Wow. According to Krugman or whomever wrote this article, folks in the U.S. are richer and more prosperous than they were four years ago, wages are outpacing inflation, and the economy is great. Wow. Funny how we need to be told and convinced of this...otherwise, I would not have known how good it is!

Evidently, Easter is celebrated today by the Orthodox #Christian church. Both the "Orthodox" and Catholic/Protestant lines celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, but differ on calendars. In fact, traditional Sunday worship is commemorative of Easter Sunday...every Sunday is a mini Easter (as every day should be as well).

Heh! She pretty much is. She's very slow and steady growth financially (nothing wrong with that) and often surprises me by dropping bitcoin news that's news to me.
Thanks for the info (and for the recommend of Tasks.org app). Looking at NIP-09, seems like there's a few qualifiers for the note to get deleted. I'm thinking it's best to well assume notes are permanent. (Pretty much the case always on the internet!)

Last night my wife and I went for a drive. She was talking sweetly about plans for "when we retire." One plan was to begin after I get through this "bitcoin phase."
My brain thought, "You never get over the bitcoin phase. Once orange-pilled, you can't unsee things."
I kept my mouth shut.

Yes, it's likely best to not hold your BTC on an exchange. Electrum is great and one of the most trusted wallets. However, I don't think Electrum can run on a mobile phone. Here's a good list https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information/recommended-wallets.html although Samourai is likely not one you likely would not want to use now due to recent news events.

The last moon pics I took were during the eclipse (the experience was great, the photos were terrible). Paused while riding my bicycle to work and snapped this one just before sunrise today. For some reason, maybe the way the plants seem to be reaching upward, I recalled the "To the Moon Guy" back on Reddit. Haven't checked /r/bitcoin in forever, but that moon battle cry used to be a thing.
Anyway, it was a nice pause this morning, a quiet, still morning look at the moon. I need more of these types of moments.
