Not sure I get it. What is there to gain by running my own relay such as Citrine?
Happy Friday everyone. It's been an intense week at work, but now taking a few minutes for myself to catch up on noster. This is how I relax.
It started working again today, but now I switched to using Amber to sign in and Fountain is just spinning after granting permissions in Amber. Apparently, nostr:nprofile1qqsr7acdvhf6we9fch94qwhpy0nza36e3tgrtkpku25ppuu80f69kfqpramhxue69uhkummnw3ez6un9d3shjtnyv4ex26mjdaehxtndv5hsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wghxyctwvshszxthwden5te0wfjkccte9ekk7mt0wd68ytnsd9hxktc79dllq is having the same issue.
Nice. I installed Amber, signed out of Amethyst, and signed in again with Amber and it worked perfectly. Now trying to do the same with Fountain, but it's just spinning after granting the permissions.
I understand this (I love my dog too), but still, there's no comparison.
Apparently I'm an android barbarian as I'm fairly new to Nostr and don't know about "event signers". Please share your wisdom.
People consider pets to be equivalent to kids when they don't want to deal with real responsibilities. They have no idea what they're missing out on.

GM all. It seems to be time for the weekly spike and bitcoin price, right before my weekly DCA. Sigh...

Normally, phone vendors try to sell the newest model because the profit margin is the highest
But why would you want a Pixel 6a?
--Great for an easy second phone, we sell them for just $245
--Reduce having to send large amounts of cryptocurrency, it's low risk
--Maybe you aren't ready to switch over every app of iPhone or stock android, but you can still get the benefits of a degoogled phone for your personal apps like Nostr, Signal, SimpleX, Bitcoin, Monero, ect.
--Isolate your work or personal life. Or some high risk apps.
--The newer models have physical hardware for location tracking, with "find my phone", that COULD potentially be a hardware backdoor. 6a doesn't have this
--GrapheneOS still will have 2-3 years of security updates for the 6a. You're telling me you're gonna use the Pixel 9 for three years? Get outta here, by then we'll have Pixel 99999
--Google is abusive and releases new models rapidly, that have very little benefit to the end user, so you're enabling them to profit from ripping you off.

6a is a great device. It's my daily driver and serves me well. Never saw the need for purchasing the more expensive 9-a pixels.
