Also now I'm seeing more sites that are like "Oh you need to use Chrome to access this" which I thought the web had gotten over for a while now.

Especially annoying when I'm loading via a chromium browser that certainly has whatever Google-pushed feature they want to use anyway.

Did people really give up on progressive enhancement and cross browser interop?

I've been observing similar symptoms, it's painful to see technological progress going backwards.

My best suggestion is to create an open spec within a spec, gain popularity and leverage, then like a wedge, split the outer spec open.

Don’t you think it’s weird that for over a decade Democrats warned emphatically that voting machines were insecure, sponsored hackathons to demonstrate the machines could be broken into, promoted news reports and documentaries interviewing expert’s explaining how vulnerable voting machines were, and then suddenly stopped saying that in 2020?

And the Republicans who ignored them or told them they were wrong for over a decade are now sponsoring hackathons, and documentaries showing how vulnerable and insecure our voting machines are?

Should we assume that the only politicians who tell the truth about how insecure our voting system is, are the ones whose election fraud tech was weaker and lost?

Is this a hacker-ocracy? Or does the party who promises the most money to the CIA (the best election manipulators in the world) wind up winning?

Gotta change it all.

AFAIK there are many attempts at designing voting systems, but none of them work. But hats off to the guy built a machine to automate a process that should take time.

Democracy and voting rituals only purpose is to slow down the decision making process, and at same time slow down the inevitable corruption that occurs wherever pools of power are formed.

Always be wary of fast parties.

Trying out #primal #nostr client , looks cool but it's unusable. It seems that there is no way to display posts from people you follow. All it does is give me options to display the "trending" posts within different time scopes from people I don't know and don't care bout. Weird app why are you guys even building this?

Agreed, I've been actively seeking out movements, cults and subcultures giving out nostr pamphlets just to get some contextual diversity in here.
