Ugh. I started reading the article “When Podcast Apps Miss The Mark” but it turns out it’s just a long winded ad for their Podcast Movement talk about how to make money on YouTube. Thanks for wasting 10 minutes of my Monday morning, PIC.
nostr:npub1jtm4dxvu3ccgk60wvvt0uw9j9vz7nuc80f7agrv0vgkkushxk5zq0rrxtn How big is the difference between webp compression and png? Is it worth it?

nostr:npub1ta3cuyrlw828clw5n0dg7efxzjfh80frr4zxmzjq0lgqcdfaertqz29zk5 Is it the production process that's confusing to them or the VTS concept/architecture itself?
nostr:npub1kr97rwacs0d2rc2f24m7hlwz9c09j5lzeu2lwerh2uplylwvc7mqff77w2 I found one from your screenshot in the db dump:

nostr:npub1kr97rwacs0d2rc2f24m7hlwz9c09j5lzeu2lwerh2uplylwvc7mqff77w2 Case issue? Your code should treat all of these as case insensitive.

Shows with large episode counts going 404. It's enough to be a real trend. Can't say how *big* a trend. But it is a trend.
I'm seeing more and more of this on Index cleanup runs:

nostr:npub1ln5q8np5aezhtt7ztv6tah86xk4t3smjuchdvxp0u6uta056204q45xyw6 I was just looking at the data structure in my database: the GUID field is called podcastGuid.
Have you by any chance called the field musicGuid or something like that?
nostr:npub1kr97rwacs0d2rc2f24m7hlwz9c09j5lzeu2lwerh2uplylwvc7mqff77w2 Nope. Looking now.
nostr:npub1ln5q8np5aezhtt7ztv6tah86xk4t3smjuchdvxp0u6uta056204q45xyw6 yes. Fetched today. The guids do show up if I search the index api. Are you excluding music from the db dump.

nostr:npub1kr97rwacs0d2rc2f24m7hlwz9c09j5lzeu2lwerh2uplylwvc7mqff77w2 No, I'm not excluding anything. Let me take a look.
IPFS data (principally for nostr:npub1df6eyr7x6cv4gq99h3rjnhj6f4yqzxa97pxf2ecxeq82ea8mwdyqfgns3a nostr:npub1ln5q8np5aezhtt7ztv6tah86xk4t3smjuchdvxp0u6uta056204q45xyw6 nostr:npub1g6plln20m4g7e42zedtrsxf08sc9mw2n23c6d2p02rf6302z4xkqyudgtx ) for my Aug 3 Podnews Daily...
OP3 reports 1,636 downloads of the MP3 file. But, how many downloaded did I see on my own filehost? Just 15.
I published at 9:19 that day. Wget is the IPFS filecatcher useragent (for now).
The PodcastAddict ones are before any IPFS service has grabbed the file - probably an unforseen effect of Podping causing a race condition between the two?

I have PND pinned on mine. I’m not sure how to see the stats of how many episodes I’ve served.
I'm a bit confused... I'm looking at the Remote Item section of Boostagram Ball rss:
But when I put any of the feedGuid into GUID resolver I don't find anything.
I suspect that I'm not picking up the Music in the database dump which I use to ingest for GUID resolver?

nostr:npub1kr97rwacs0d2rc2f24m7hlwz9c09j5lzeu2lwerh2uplylwvc7mqff77w2 Hmm. You’re on the most recent database dump?
Well I drained my 100k sat Alby balance before BB#2 was over. Time for a refill!
T-shirt idea: “I sent it all to the Boostagram Ball.”
nostr:npub1ln5q8np5aezhtt7ztv6tah86xk4t3smjuchdvxp0u6uta056204q45xyw6 For the LIT P2.0 episodes, are you publishing live / liveEnd updates via podping? Was looking for this today but didn't see any come through.
nostr:npub1ay8ypd2gnz5xuph37sg8m85nc6lx54mn622skq2e6rms7h64e37s4746wf Oops, did we not send one out? Now that you mention it I never saw the push notifications pop up either.
nostr:npub1df6eyr7x6cv4gq99h3rjnhj6f4yqzxa97pxf2ecxeq82ea8mwdyqfgns3a, did you send the live podpings today?
