I decided yesterday it was absolutely out of control and I was completely done. I developed a whole community growth system that is private, confuses all the algos instead of giving them good data, and focuses on giving a big percent of value generated by the community back to the community members, proportionate to their engagement, instead of being farmed and value extracted by corporations

What does a decentralized social network look like to you?

My thoughts:

- Based on personal, human-to-human connection

- Distribution of pure value, not speculative

- Decentralized, non-hierarchical

- Opaque, private, no data shared or collected with anyone in the network

- You only see 1 degree into your own network

- Personal network isn’t exploited by corporations but is monetized by you for you by providing true value

- Based on personal trust

- Not hosted anywhere but uses the creator’s choices of privacy-respecting apps

- Uncensorable, untraceable

- Not on the blockchain because the future is doxxed…
