I feel both.
I've been stacking for almost seven yeary... not an easy ride to persevere when others think you're foolish. I was competing against myself, the discipline of hitting a target that might become generational wealth for the children that we're raising and home educating.
I also think a lot about those "sats per person" websites showing a fair allocation of something like 250,000 sats. I set up a separate wallet and keep list of names for whom I am acting as a anonymous custodian, to gift them their satscap in future when such an allocation might make a big difference, and when they finally get why it matters.
Yes, it's actual bitcoin.
The lightning network is a settlement layer on top of bitcoin network, makes it easier to move lots of small amounts at high speed.
The zaps are in satoshis which are fractions of a bitcoin.
One bitcoin is 100,000,000 sats... but every little counts when you know there will only ever be 21,000,000 bitcoin.
Beats the whole hassle of a boating accident.

Each time I use desktop clients something bad happens. Follow lists and relays disappear to varying degrees.
The best desktop was nostrgram but it was abandoned last year. The new breed are competing on features but not really thinking about user experience from first principles.

My wife and I were meditating on this thought first thing.
That we are dust brought to life by the breath of God, and called to worship, obey, and glorify Him from a willing heart.
That this is a harsh object lesson for the fallen angels, who were much more than dust, endowed what great power and glory, but singularly failed to obey Him.
Their humiliation is ultimately to be replaced by us, dust soon to be clothed in immortal glory and bearing the image of the heavenly Man, while they as gods will perish as men, flaming spirits assimilated by the consuming fire.
Oh yeah, and we exchanged little gifts, had breakfast in bed, and played Jim Brickman's "Good Morning Beautiful"... because she is.
