Let's put it this way. Before Zionism Jewish people lived in peace with Palestinians. True, in this last century a large influx of European Jewery entered into Palestine. But its crucial to note that they did so under a project, a concerted effort, to produce and maintain and Jewish only state of Israel. As a Jewish person, of a humble age of 30, it is of my opinion that this Jewish only state project was and continues to be the folly of the "State of Israel."

It is of note that to this day, there are Jewish people in the state of Israel that are against the Jewish only statist project, that want, along with the Palestinians, to live under rule of a state that protects the statehood, the citizenshup, the humanity of both Jewish people and Muslim people, of Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs. Those Jews, who criticize the Zionists project are being treated very poorly right now and have never been looked upon well. They want peace. The Zionists will only get peace when every Palestinian is no longer in their locale, this is born out by the Zionist logic itself, and that outcome must not materialize--for the sake of international law, our collective moral compass, and for the shame I feel as a Jewish person to have this Zionist project spill blood, starve out, oppress, make a whole people stateless, sub-citizen, all in the name of providing the Jewish people, MY NAME, MY BLOOD a state to ensure their projection under state sovereignty--what Europe denied them LESS THAN 100 YEARS AGO. When I was young, it always astounded me that the Jewish community in general and the Jewish zionists in particular never agknowledged the insanity and tragedy of the Christian Zionists intentions and beliefs. But these folks don't care much for Jewish people at all, we are just a pawn in their theological delusions.

Why does Inflicting reactionary or, as we have also seen in the last 20 years, unprovoked military operations against the people of Gaza = "keeping Jewish people safe" WHILE seeking a peaceful existence for the people who live in greater Palestine IS NEVER EVEN SERIOUSLY ENTERTAINED??!!

I am getting close to giving a more detailed assessment on Israel/Hamas, as it drags on.

My husband is currently in Cairo dealing with some property work we are doing for our extended family. They are only 250 miles from the problem, and Egypt’s acute currency crisis brings it closer to home if military or refugee shit hits the fan. Most of my extended family is geopolitically or financially close to the Israel/Gaza issue and is Muslim. I am thus both close and far from the issue. And I grew up in the US in a diverse region with Jewish and Muslim peers, but more-so Jewish overall.

Suffice to say, I don’t want civilians on either side to suffer or die. I am pro-humanity first and foremost.
