Petrodollar: the playbook reveals itself

Over the past few months, we have seen how the BRICS countries are gaining ground. An energetic bloc is forming, which will soon play out its geopolitical power via the currency markets, break away from the swift system and declare war on the Petrodollar. We see in the accumulation of gold how the central banks involved are trying to build up a capital base beyond fiat money and thus establish mutual trust in their own currencies.

The biggest act, however, will be Saudi Arabia's unpegging from the Petrodollar. As in the case of Russia a few years ago, Saudi Arabia is now being provided with dollar swap lines by China. These are loans that are later to be repaid in yuan to cushion the potential shock of an embargo and at the same time help the Chinese currency to spread further and thus become more important internationally. We are already seeing pressure on the oil market hitting Saudi Arabia with a budget deficit. In the last week we have seen several meetings between Russia, Saudi Arabia and Iran, all aimed at installing this new commodity trading space.

The countries involved will soon have integrated a financial system that can absorb external shocks and they will exit the general dependence on the dollar. The rude awakening will come when it becomes clear that the OPEC countries' production cuts will have consequences in the medium term. Do not count on cheap energy for too long a time!

I wrote a short rant called "fuck easy" a couple of days ago. I've been listening to podcasts and after the 5th person complaining that nostr is too hard (is it, really?) I was fed up and typed this out on my phone. I hope that we can return to a point, culturally, where "hard" is okay, just like the first level of the original Super Mario was hard.

Coddling everyone's mind has led us to the upside-down clown world we're currently living in, and coddling everyone's body has led to less-than-optimal health, to put it mildly. In the Bitcoin world, coddling users and making things "easy" has led to Coinbase-by-default and other stupid bullshit, and I truly am fed up with all of that.

There is a better way, but the "better" isn't necessarily "easy."

Ordinals and inscriptions aren’t using bitcoin the money. They are merely using #Bitcoin  *nodes* to store their garbage, and the bitcoin *name* to sell it to people.

It makes perfect, and necessary,

logic to build, optimize, and restrict the #Bitcoin  system to only allow and facilitate the bitcoin *money.*

This isn’t a contradiction, it isn’t censorship, it’s necessary to defining what the protocol even does.

Any other arguments you want to have about the difficulty, feasibility, or foolishness of making or trying to reverse changes or certain data that is already included are valid. But the above point is true no matter what side you take.

Your vision of the world only becomes clear when you find yourself humbly hitting your knees.

Remain calm, embrace faith, uphold humility. Express your gratitude deeply, and most significantly, be the uplifting force for those in your circle.

Risk might also be that oil producing nations get some version of the Russia treatment since there is not public support for the typical kinetic response we've seen in the past...and as part of that alternative war tactic BTC gets deemed a national security threat. Buckle up. It's gonna get weird in 2024.
