Hey GM my Nostriches!! π
Iβve decided to take a break from nostr, it felt like the quality of my notes lacked, I was sooo fixed to this vibe here, in an almost unhealthy way! π so I gained some new perspectives :)
But I miss you guys!! Will take my time to response and see what Iβve missed :) probably many awesome and inspiring notes β¨π and I hope youβre fine. ππ«
Well I was at the dentist and they removed the wisest of my teeth. Just another day where I could fight my fear of injections ππͺπΌ (Iβm almost chill with needles) a friend gave me some arnica (homeopathic) and I do really believe it made the healing process waaay better π―π
I spend some time sunbathing, with my dog or with my friends π I was able to fully listen to myself, organize my thoughts and grow in some wayβ¦. π«
And about my garden, I got blueberries π« and put them in forest soil & I got a lemon tree π₯³ππ³
And I planted onions, spinach & spring onions! Soon I will put the potatoes out, too. π₯
Also, we have some babies at the farm! Check the slide π«Άβ¨π₯
Share some thoughts with me, Iβd love to read them! Have a good day. ππ
& by the way, it's not taken for granted at all that people from the internet care about you. I appreciate you all so much. My internet family is truly something special. π https://video.nostr.build/73315c20c3795b462f53372da540c02d6c4cb5c245fb86a941b13b7efc79ffeb.mp4

GM fren. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and being as considerate and honest. I think behind this npub is nothing but a beautiful soul.
Looking forward to more motivation, beauty, and wisdom in your notes.
Have a lovely day

Hello Nostr! I'm making a serious attempt at trying to use Nostr more, and to make it more useful for myself as a social media platform.
What is the best way to follow the most high signal accounts the quickest? What about how to filter out the noise? Any other tips generally?
I mostly use nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg on desktop if it matters.
Primal is a good one. For more info about everything I use https://nostrudel.ninja.
For streamlined experience I use https://coracle.social.
On Coracle you see the WoT score next to profile names. It gives you an idea about how 'connected' this profile is.
A quick hack, I'd check the follows of nostr:npub1dergggklka99wwrs92yz8wdjs952h2ux2ha2ed598ngwu9w7a6fsh9xzpc
and nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft. You can check mine too xD
Listened to Michael Saylor on the nostr:npub1r8l06leee9kjlam0slmky7h8j9zme9ca32erypgqtyu6t2gnhshs3jx5dk podcast. It's 3 months old, but sheds some light on the ARK funding story.
TL;DW: Saylor strongly believes in *OSSIFICATION NOW*. From that POV, protocol development is a liability.
Some quotes (and thoughts)π
"You only get to play God once. And Satoshi played God. And you can say 'well Satoshi got to do it, why can't I?' Well the answer is Satoshi did it, the reason we're talking about Satoshi is 'cause the other 100,000 would-be Satoshis failed. If you read the history of the world, work your way through 10,000 pages of Western history, there will be thousands and thousands and thousands of episodes of 'alpha male thinks he was put on this earth, you know, to change everything', full of hubris [...] he's gotta do more, change more, etcetera.'" (53:34)β¨β¨"Bitcoin Core developers, or protocol developers, they want to fix something, or they want to make a contribution, because it's in their DNA, but developers are just the lawyers of cyberspace. When a lawyer shows up at the capital, they gotta make a law to save you from yourself, and the more laws they make, the more they cripple the economy, until eventually there's so many laws that the entire civilization collapses under its own weight." (58:06)β¨β¨"The world is full of people that need something to do. I would say, the real key to wisdom, channel your energy constructively. If you're gonna do something, improve Lightning, build an application, persuade someone to adopt Bitcoin as a reserve asset, educate someoneβ¦ these are all constructive things. Destructive, dilutive, distractive things are: fight with random people 'cause they want to fight with you, attack the core network and make it confusing and introduce anxiety, and confusion and fear, uncertainty and doubt into the base layer. Right? And then attempt to imprint your ego, you know, on the base protocol, you know? Like, 'I gotta introduce this so my name will go down in history forever'." (2:38:55)β¨β¨My view: it's understandable to want Bitcoin to behave like the granite under Manhattan (his analogy); a solid bedrock that never changes. Especially if you truly believe Bitcoin will take over the world as SoV-only and "there is no second best". But IMO this is wishful thinking. While I agree it's near-impossible for an alt to overtake Bitcoin, I do think adoption could stall.
Luckily, Bitcoin isn't really a natural element. It's spontaneous order, more like language. Hard to change and no one can dictate changes, but if market wants it to change, it can.
Furthermore, despite Stephan asking a few questions in that direction, Saylor mostly failed to distinguish between protocol upgrades and general software maintenance.
Arguing against any hard/soft forks is one thing, but Bitcoin Core 26.0 can obviously not last for centuries...
Having said that, Saylor is of course free to not upgrade anymore and stick to Bitcoin Core 26.0 for as long as he lives.
That, but instead, a 55 years old parent...
You should try one of nostr:npub1eln4r7kgp74ty4f70qcntu28lkfuxk7hflrsgewd7l3u7swj0exqrwz3pj sessions. The app is called SonicTonic π https://apps.apple.com/de/app/sonictonic/id1057946205
I try to have one less app. I was on different Nike training, Wimm, and others. I now do it analog. Simple youtube video and in case I want to track I have a sheet to plug in numbers.
I think it goes without saying, but
Assholes, like true motherfuckers, don't and simply can't get #Bitcoin or #Nostr.
Their brains short-circuit when they get closer to grasping freedom technology and its implications on self and other's well being.
And it is great this way!
Love you all #nostriches

I'm literally laying on the couch listening to Wim Hoffman right now. Only without the cute doggies.
Have a good day!
Big time, also to their poor, but also silly, customers who trusted them and allowed that theatre to happen.
