Ringo, don't use amethyst, i see the dots in iris. The amethyst dev was promoting censorship. Amethyst is a soyware client
The master of frivolous lawsuits:

I need to start a frivolous lawsuit hustle. There was this guy in Northern California that was in a wheelchair and would seek out restaurants without a disabled ramps and sue the shit out of them and he was quite rich from it.
Now this:
why hasn't serbia adopted bitcoin more seriously if the prince is always out shilling btc at everywhere?
I could go for a couple glasses of wine right about now
the powers that be don't want a neutral settlement layer, they want one they can use to enforce policy from the top down. with bitcoin they can't, that is why they will switch to anything besides bitcoin after the dollar
personally, I think it's fud, I mean the code is open source, if there was a back door, the community would have discovered it by now
If anyone actually needs censorship resistant payments, it's whores. Derose and Junseth proved this in 2015
I honestly don't think bitcoin is cut out for this fight. Without privacy by default it is doomed. The same bitcoiners who refused to leave twitter when everyone was being censored and deplatformed and are now trying to share block lists for nostr are not adversarially minded enough to overcome bitcoin surveillance or to continue using bitcoin if it becomes a crime.
are you predicting the outbreak of a third world war to recover the economy like in the 40's?
damn man, how many hostages do you have to subdue?
“Lightning adoption is a pipe dream”
Nostr living the dream?

he is kind of right about lightning being incentivized towards large nodes offering custodial services and that very few people run their own lightning nodes. lightning's incentive structure is not the same as regular bitcoin and tends towards centralization, custody and custodial services rather than independent nodes ran by individuals.
Yang gang was hilarious
It's high time I shared more on why I've shifted focus more to Bitcoin from Monero over the past several months, and my latest blog post is an attempt to do just that:
https://sethforprivacy.com/posts/why-i-focus-on-bitcoin/
Happy to dive into more detail for any of the points given or my reasoning behind this shift 🙂
I think bitcoin has already become a dystopian surveillance panopticon
