That would completely defeat the purpose of zaps which are peer2peer. And I'm sure this would not solve the problem anywya because you are still tipping the note/user.

There is no motive it's just pure corporate paperwork bullshit.
To me it would be less convenient to click on the profile then zap but it only adds one tap so that's not the end of the world. But in this case it would be good that the default zap amount is also used for profile zap.
Yet another suggestion from a random pleb:
Move the zap button next to the profile name instead of below the note. When you tap on it, it opens the profile page and automatically triggers the profile zap if available.
Can't sideload on iOS, it's a very restricted environment.

Yes 100%. Best historical example is the dot com bubble. Lot of companies will raise capital because they do something "related to" A.I. and they will never produce anything useful. Many will see that as an opportunity to print their token (company shares) and dump it on greedy investors before going bankrupt.

Not sure why I keep seeing those numbers regarding lightning. The network can handle an infinite amount of tx per seconds in theory 😀.
