I do own bitcoin, but I would never trade my gold for btc. It’s two different assets. Gold is physical and durable, almost impossible to destroy. In case of blackout our nuclear Winter etc. it will keep its value, where bitcoin is not accessible.
Bitcoin is financial security and financial freedom when power is on. I can transfer value from A to B and nobody can block me. Government can not expropriate me by printing money and they can’t confiscate it, as long as I own the keys.
Gold and bitcoin are not in competition, they are family.
I don’t think Gold will loose its uniqueness.
