Hi all (anyone who sees my post). I’m a freedom loving Aussie who has chosen not to participate in the current system. I’m a firm believer that systems can change when counter cultures become dominate. I’m passionate about audio recording nature and suburban environments in stereo. I also enjoy the challenge of phone videography. I talk allot about counter cultures and non participation in social norms, I’ve pretty much been shadow banned on all platforms. I hope this platform is a good place for an old soul like me 🙂

My very first post on Nostr. Neat.

I posted this earlier, but I did the wrong hashtag. So, I’m posting it again with the right one. 🙄🙃

I’m brand new to this type of platform. I’m not extremely tech savvy, but I’m a very quick study. #TikTok was the place I could find real information and not the spoon fed mainstream propaganda. With the shutdown that just happened and TikTok coming back online the next day, there’s probably something nefarious happening with the platform and I trust it even less now. I didn’t know where to find real news and information until I saw @Iancarroll post on TikTok. I believe in #free speech, #equality, and #resistance. I’m looking for like minded individuals and people that have information on how to resist the oligarchy in the United States.

Things I learned about China from 72 hours on Xiaohongshu:

-They do not pay property tax (and yes they do own their own homes - not state owned) which is partly why they have so few homeless people.

-They pay way less for groceries.

-They have beautiful Christmas markets.

-They enjoy freedom of religion but are not allowed to evangelize or go door to door preaching.

-They are appalled that we have to pay for ambulances here.

-They have their own cowboys and rancher subculture.

-Mandarin sentence structure is almost just like English (subject, verb, object).
