That boy needs therapy…
Horses for courses….
Say you wanted to buy a tank and some phat armour penetrating missiles for the garden but your name isn’t Benjamin Netanyahu, how would you go about it?
That’s very cool. The ISP stuff has always worried me, I self host as much as I can but don’t know how I’d network like this guy did.
Good morning campers, hi di hi!
He was at my wedding… Take A Rest was on the playlist.
Tapes were the one! I used to spend hours taping pirate radio back in the day, was more the UK breaks and bleeps stuff before Jungle but those tapes hold such special place. I still think those radio tapes sound better than vinyl. The hiss, interference and compression create such a vibey sound.
I’ve recently been digitising them since I inherited a tape deck.
Regarding the recent Proton Wallet, I respect their conscious effort to be transparent and open about the tradeoffs / threat model (especially in their recent blog posts; see below).
I just tested out the wallet, great work.
Though not perfect ATM, they seem to be on a good path so far in building a Bitcoin-only wallet to simplify sending and receiving Bitcoin for their 100 million Proton users.
Presently, they appear to use the Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK; see below) as a dependency, with coinjoin and the Lightning Dev Kit (LDK) on their radar. Hopefully, we will see silent payments integrated down the line, too.
Nevertheless, as a Proton user, I look forward to seeing how the Proton Wallet evolves 🔥

As a Proton customer I’m worried that this rush of new features leads to Enshitification. As the business grows investors will want to see returns and we’ve seen so many services turn to shit.
Now, if their wallet included some additional privacy features, that would clearly be welcome. But right now it’s not that exciting to me, especially given the loss of privacy going to public ledger without mixing.
Guru dying got to me in a way no other musician’s death has.
Such a brilliant voice. Step In The Arena is still in my top albums.
I was just thinking of other parallels of murderers getting huge cheers but didn’t want to go there.
Good morning, may joyous noises exude from every orafice this fine day.
That's a quite creative idea 💫
Actually, it is for a ceramic wheel

Very cool!
Given the cheers for Arpartheid enthusiast and war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu today in America, I’d be less worried about who might be in power and more concerned with those in power right now.
Seriously wtf.
Cheering a war criminal? That’s a whole new vibe.
Also wars are for nukes and fancy guns and stuff, not culture!
