3 days at Yamanakako in yamanashi with 2 other couples and our dogs. Been a super great time out of the city, playing some tennis and ping pong, visiting some local restaurants and cafes and just catching up.

Lots of talk about investments but they’re not sold on #bitcoin yet. Need to improve my orange pilling skills haha. Thanks #japan for your awesome 田舎

Started reading The Bitcoin Standard as a start to improving my fundamental understanding of what Bitcoin solves in our current economic world.

As a software engineer I don’t have much knowledge of economics, so just the first chapter on money is teaching me many new terms. Loving it.

I made a rule to not play my switch in bed. Bed is for reading or even YouTube. I’m so addicted to Rocket League recently. I told my wife to forbid me from bringing the switch to bed but she let me do it tonight. It’s totally her fault that it’s this late now. But I can’t blame her while all because she’s asleep already..

Reading Satoshis original e-cash mail thread is so exciting. Thinking of where Bitcoin is now and where it’s headed fast. It’s happening just as he imagined

Need to look for some resources for learning more about the technicals of Nostr and Lightning etc. as a software engineer I don’t like not knowing how it all works. Don’t want to just be an investor.

Always hard to know where to start though. Especially with limited time in the week!

Man… still so much I need to learn about Bitcoin / lightning. Like what is a LNURL?? I’ve owned BTC for a few years but with little knowledge it seems. Things to change in 2023

Visiting my home country and chatted to my mom about finance (her career was related to pension funds) and she was going on about issues in the global financial system.

I knew she should hear about Bitcoin vs all other infinite assets.

So showed her #[0]​ YouTube video explanation of Bitcoin.

She expected to be bored but was completely hooked and in total agreement. Now she understand Bitcoin as something so much more than just a tradeable fad. She asked a lot of questions in the beginning but all were address later in the video.

Got a new Bitcoiner in the making!!
