so, one of the big changes in my diet recently was buying a 2kg of manteiga de cacau, cocoa butter...

and i really want to tell everyone, if they can currently get their hands on it, grab it with both hands, because the drought in the main cacao production region of west africa has drastically diminished supplies of this resource, so the prices are gonna go up real fast real soon, if not already

this is magic stuff, and i am glad i got some just before the supply crunch started, it should be enough to get me into a much better state

but don't underestimate it

and, further, if you can't get cacao, of basically near equal value is beef tallow

the common factor is stearic acid, and both foods are wonder foods because of this, just that cacao got a more fancy name "food of the gods" theobroma

i'll be replenishing my stock of high stearate fats in the future with tallow but just wanted to put this out there, as i was just melting some up to fry an egg

If I were to add to the "what is wrong with gossip" category here, I am starting to realize that it's paid relays. This doesn't bode well for the direction I'm going with relays as I only want to support paid relays, list based acls, or obfuscated relays. IE, relays that have not been discovered by bad actors, or that have enough barrier to entry that keeping them at bay is possible by one person or small team.

All I mean here, is I think the nip-65 needs to expand to include paid-inbox and/or auth. And maybe the word paid is now frowned upon, by people who don't want to require lighting. So acl-relays? 😅 Potentially need to provide an API or way (event kind) for checking if a pubkey has access to a paid or auth relay..
