“The sum of good government is a wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned”.
- Thomas Jefferson
Exactly.
What was sold as a tax on the wealthy soon became a tax on all workers. This was the analogous camel’s nose under the tent.
Prediction: in the future #government will ban fluoride from being added to municipal water due to health concerns.
It's nice the politicians are "talking" about allowing us citizens to keep a little more of the money we work for.
And some people say politicians don't have a heart.

Good information. Thank you!
Thank you for the explanation, I greatly appreciate it!

I have not. Thank you for the suggestion.
Thank you for the explanation.
I’m struggling with how to securely use #Nostr iOS apps.
From what I’ve read we must protect our Nsec; hence, the need to install an extension like nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm when using a Nostr web client like nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg on the desktop.
When installing a Nostr iOS app like nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 or nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 , I’m asked to enter my Nsec directly into the app.
How do I know where my Nsec is being stored?
Is there something like nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm for iOS, or is it a matter of needing to trust each Nostr app I install and hope they are securing my Nsec correctly?

Someone once said, "we become the average of the 5 people we surround ourselves with most".
Using #Nostr has certainly given me a more positive and optimistic outlook on the future vs the algo controlled social platforms that foster negative feelings to keep us doom scrolling.
😂
Thanks for inspiring me to buy one.
Dave and Robby do a great job breaking down the missed opportunities in this episode.
Sorry to hear about your pan being confiscated.
Maybe the bottom of this piece, where alternative definitions for the TSA are mentioned, will make you smile.
Today, I learned peanut butter is a liquid, according to the TSA.
I got this one. While it's probably not the best, I couldn't pass up the price. 😁

I'm curious to know what others use as a best practice for securing their Nsec. nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm works terrific with web apps on a desktop or laptop, but when it comes to mobile apps I'm a little concerned about entering my Nsec when trying different mobile apps.
Is there an Alby like mobile app?
Please let me know your best practice for securing your Nsec on mobile.

I really liked Jack's thought on someone who's never wrong:
"A person that can never be wrong is also seldom right".

You should have included an Amazon affiliate link in your post because after I read this, I went to Amazon and purchased one. 😆
