Not at all on the same page.

Many of the people who are angry with Michael Saylor are people who gave him too much credit in the first place.

You will not need to kill your heros if you have no heroes.

Physician, heal thyself.

This is so hard.

It is not for people I agree with.

It is not for governments.

It is not NOT for governments.

It is not for the rich only.

It is not for the poor only.

It is not just for my friends.

If it is not for everyone. No matter who...

Then it has failed.

(It has not failed)

Are we slaying our most recent hero?

Whatever.

Maybe stop having heroes?

Then no one has to die.

Selah.

Ok.

Dig.

Used to be you'd start a band. And you'd work your way up. Practice... play some open mics, maybe a Thursday night at a club. Sell some drinks... be able to do a Friday. Or Saturday.

Maybe you write great songs... you get them on the radio and you start packing out bigger venues... coliseums.

Wow.

You might be able to play to tens of thousands of people at once.

Now think about it. You can do the same thing but the world is your venue and it never has to be any other venue. You can just draw more and more people in and have people on a Friday night think it's okay to pay a few hundred sats to see you.

And now imagine there's two billion of them.

Are you seeing it?

Makes sense. If your channel is inactive you have stats locked up, at risk, in a hot wallet. And you get nothing. Why wouldn't you wait till fees were low and close those channels?

Or if you have a channel that's active but it's getting sucked down by liquidity sinks or not able to remake its cost in fees. Then again? Why would you not close your channel and use those sets for something more useful?

But if you figured out how to monetize your channel through whatever means? Then keep it open. And watch it be used even more.

I think the big surprise if the lightning network is going to be used by large entities not by small transactions. And a new network will form underneath it for smaller transactions. Chaumian ecash? But then, will we just see that happen again? Perhaps... but at a much higher scale.

Fun..

Isn't it...

Tasty. I want some!

Ah. Yes. Wisdom in the midst of pain. Reality without redemption.

Powerful. This is my water as well.

Nuance is important. I too am sad that he and evidently his advisors, have fallen down the shitcoin hole. But who a man is as a leader or ANYTHING else is not just one thing. But a spectrum of things. On the other hand voting or NOT voting? THAT is black and white. ThoughI respect the choice of people who choose that polarity... I disagree with it strongly. Then again, I am an old bitcoinner who still believes Monero has value. I see nuance there too.

That's a big thing for me. Black and white thinking is only useful in the most extreme circumstances.

This is because kratom is an opioid. An atypical partial agonist but an opioid none the less. So it can be used for pain, sure. And as a replacement for pharmaceutical or street opioids in the same way wine can replace vodka.

It has profound dependence and addiction potential. Just take a look at the r/quittingkratom subreddit. Over 45000 members.

Caveat emptor. Seriously. It has the potential for terrible withdrawals.
