Sure, it's not as if every pleb has access to a Bitcoin only exchange. In fact, I don't know of any Bitcoin only exchanges. Exchanges need the alts whose price action is an income stream.
My quick read is that it's a Bitcoin on-ramp, facilitating swaps to Bitcoin and making them more efficient. My question back to you is, why the concern in the opposite scenario? Bitcoin is the superior money. We know this, it's why we're here. So why the worry?

Bitcoin is neutral like cash, and can’t discriminate between good and bad. Authorities will blame extremism ... also on Bitcoin and anything they can’t control. We should push back. Yes, some extremists use these tools. They also use mobile phones, email, and the internet.
