I don't want to take anything away from those performers, many of whom clearly deserve it, but it kils me that Warren Zevon, who was near the top of the fan voting last I looked, didn't make it. I had the honor of seeing him twice at Tipitina's in New Orleans in the early to mid '90s, and his music was a shared interest with my late father.

What’s up nostriches! Here’s my first attempt at a Johnson - Su bioreactor. I don’t know how y’all fill the thing. I dumped 3 years of procrastination and deep litter chicken compost in there. That plus probably too much ratio of browns, and I still didn’t get it more than half full. I will say, it probably is one of the uglier composting methods I’ve ever seen. I bet it still cooks though!
I added some spent mushroom media blocks because why not?!

It’s probably ubiquitous now, but when I did my Ryzen 7 build, they were just getting into it and I ponied up for a mb with a m.2 hd slot. There’s no going back! The computer is booted before I’m done pressing the On button. Modded Java Minecraft plays very nice with it being there. I felt a bit extorted but it was the difference toward a computer behaving the way I always thought they should.
Check the label. Is the boat guaranteed to sink if coated with this stuff?

For sure! The sad thing is, people don’t see it coming. Not so long ago, i I remember “strong” Christians, disallowed from having their church doors open, disallowed from shopping anywhere but the grocery isle in Walmart, we had who? One Polish priest in Canada that threw an absolute fit, and a couple thousand evangelicals in California that played music in a park. Probably going to go the same way with cbdc. I don’t picture myself paying tithing with my ubi, that’s for sure.
Bitcoin is sound money.
We are taught that a workman is worthy of his hire. We are taught to not be given to usery (bad debt). Proverbs says only a fool doesn’t count the cost before starting a project.
If you don’t have sound money, you tend toward usery because of poverty mindset.
You will never be worthy of your hire, if your money is not worthy of use to begin with.
If you’re using fractional banking, the federal reserve note we pass around as “cash” is not a representation of money. It is a representation of debt. Nasty, blood stained, war earned, debt issued by possibly Babylon or the whore that sat upon many waters, depending on how you interpret Apocolypsis.
How can you count the cost of starting a project if inflation runs away from you before you even get started?

It’s not the second coming. It won’t save us from the apocalypse. We can’t take our private keys with us when we die. It’s just like any other worldly thing. Obsession causes fault. Aaah Crap, I hit send and then realized I implied the punchline but didn’t come out and say it.
The wood holds a lot of water, and it holds it aerobically which is what you want.
So by all means, use it to hold moisture. However, don’t try to use woodwork to divert water or catch flowing water etc.
Heugel is a thing of itself, and some of its proponents get a bit long in the tooth about it. So short answer, just covering it in soil would not make a heugel mound.
However, it would make a really really amazing place to grow stuff! I have covered several wood piles and made gardens. The bug life is amazing! So many worms, so much other stuff, so much fungus.
Just make sure you don’t try to make a swale berm with wood. Wood floats. Then, your heugel turns into a raft and floats downhill and causes trouble. No joke! Heugel was originally a way to fill bogs and deal with Germany’s relatively bad soil, so it excels at making low areas high and high areas higher but more fertile.
Obnoxious. I had the same trouble with WoS + Damus, and I eventually moved to alby + snort. Once I populated the snort wallet with LNDhub info generated by alby, it all worked.
The field in Damus continued to look like an email address the way Lightning addresses always do.
