I'm sorry that so many of you never experienced America before the US government stole so much freedom from us after 9/11.

You want groceries? Papers please.

Depends how sick. I've worked out with a cold and felt a lot better afterwards.

If I had something like the flu I'd stay home.

Some mornings I really don't feel like hitting the gym. I'm not at 100%, and no one would blame a guy for skipping today to rest.

Yet every time I choose to workout on these days I feel incredible afterwards. Maybe it wasn't my best workout ever, but I gave it my all. I pushed through.

These are the most important days.

Today is one of them. ✌️🌞

Grandparents are incredible if you're lucky enough to have them in your life. I never knew my dad's parents, but I was lucky to have my mom's parents in my life until my mid-20s.

My mom recently converted all her analog family tapes to digital, and my wife & I watched everything. My grandparents were always present no matter the occasion. I can't imagine not having that growing up, but I also think about how much more fulfilling things would have been if my dad's parents were also there. I wish they took better care of their health.

A future human may not feel as you do, but if you make yourself an excellent grandfather, they won't be able to imagine life without your presence.✌️

My biggest goal in life is simple:

Spend quality time with my great grandchildren before I die.

There's no guaranteed success. I'm not even a grandfather yet! But I will work towards that goal every day.

I want to be a part of their lives when I'm reaching the end of my journey.🧡

I don't think any speech has resonated with me more than "This is Water" from David Foster Wallace.

I listen to it many times per year.

Don't ask what it takes to change if you don't want the truth.

There's nothing glamorous about being consistent day after day, year after year. No tricks or magic to it.

You want change? Push through & grow, but stop asking "How do you do it?" if you don't really want to know.

Except you can never really delete it from your life when everyone else around you still eats it. 😆
