The Deep Questions podcasts of Cal Newport are always pragmatic with a lot of productity tips for doing hard work which require a deep work mindset.
His last episode How To Think was one of the best episodes I've listened. Cal shares the following practices to become a more serious thinker:
1. Improve the quality and decrease the quantity of information consumption by avoiding social media algorithms, opting for curated news sources, and adopting a multiscale approach (daily, monthly, seasonal).
2. Increase comfort with boredom through outings without a phone, longer phone-free weekend outings, and the "phone foyer" method to reduce distraction accessibility.
3. Cultivate your ability to pay attention by practicing interval training, gradually increasing the time of sustained focus, and establishing rituals and environments for different activities.
4. Strengthen working memory through productive meditation, where you solve problems mentally during walks, enhancing the ability to hold and manipulate multiple pieces of information.
5. Practice being intellectual by seeking nuance, subtlety, and integration of information; pair primary and secondary sources to deepen understanding of complex topics.
6. Emphasize the importance of reading secondary sources before engaging with primary artifacts like books or art, as it provides a framework for deeper understanding.
Have tried many (I'm using the side by side):
- Nostur
- noStrudel
- Coracle
- Primal
- Damus

Is it just me? In many Nostr clients the unfollow function does not work. I keep receiving new notes from them.

I know a lot of people who donโt even know what a ID is. So the term a unique username would be better, but when they so this they think itโs an email address. So yes itโs really confusing.

Hello. Based on the feedback I received from you, I compiled the Nostr diagram into one page.
There are quite a lot of elements, so I'll just show you the line drawings for now. (I plan to add color once the contents are finalized)
In this illustration, the ostrich was not included in the cast. Instead, machines and robots are used to represent the internal workings of clients and relay servers. I also researched and added Zap while getting advice from various people.
What do you think of this diagram?

This is the nostrverse ๐ค๐ป
I agree, thatโs one of the reason why I run my own personal / private relay.
My question was was more asked from a technical point of view (I was not clear on that)
Cool. What will be the biggest benefit of having a client and relay on your side?

Nice work, will it only run when Lume is open?
Is this a seperate fund besides the OpenSats one nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6? ๐๐ป Thanks for sharing in public!
Yes agree! It sets bootstrapping to a new level!
TailwindCSS is awesome! But keep in mind you should also keep learning how to write CSS when you're a developer ;-)
`npm update; git add .; git commit -m 'npm update'; git push`
Updated https://github.com/Sebastix/nuxstr with NDK 2.3.0.
Build it, I will test it for sure (with a own configured relay besides)! ๐
This makes sense to me for kind-focused relays like your purplepages. So the routing depends on which kind of event needs to be broadcasted right? This will also incentify building more niche relays focused on handling one or more kinds really good (also decentralization will increase of the network imo)
I can imagine that!! It makes me wonder, how do I get started to accomplish this? Start with reading the Asahi docs as a first step I suppose. I also need to create a partition too (and make a decent backup just in case)

Setting up a dual boot with Asahi Linux....is that possible?
