Found Bitcoin in 2016, only started to understand it in 2018. I'm here to support it how I can. On Nostr since 2022

Oddly, it's the power that it can be decentralized that is key here. As with any standing army that is ready to fight. It's not that the army needs to fight when the opponent has sufficient fear of it. In this case, having the full ability to go more decentralized at a moments notice can be sufficient deterrent for those who would abuse their power.

Also, those who would abuse their power, in some cases, know enough to not provoke and instead to diminish it, making it seem unimportant in the hopes that it will fade and get forgotten. After which the abusers will resume with their intended goals.

The power of open source means the code will live on after all of us, hence the reason to ensure the sharing of knowledge about what code there is, how to use it, what it is for, etc.

Yes, all gov offices have this feeling. It's the cost of stability and reminds you, they have no intention of ever going away.

I really enjoy zapping people for good comments.

An additional motivator is that I only allow myself to view the fiat relevance of the Bitcoin price after I zap someone 🤣

That's a 50% reduction in fiat terms 🤣

If you do want to try to reduce sugar intake, do it slowly. I found it useful to first remove it from my meals. Only allow it in the afternoon, as it's own thing. Also, it's easier if you replace it with something, so that you don't sit there craving it. The best replacement I found was a cheese made from real milk, perhaps an aged cheddar. And when the sugar craving would hit, feel free to eat as much of the cheese as you wanted, until the craving subsided.

One but if knowledge that helps, the craving cycle seems to go in a 2 week swing.

Be strong, and avoid any sweetener in any drink.

Hey y’all. Long-time follower, first time poster. I’m a proud father of two and husband to an amazing wife that I don’t deserve. My fiat-mining job is fixing teeth, but my passion is giving dentistry away for free on mission trips to countries that have been especially ravaged by centuries of fiat. I stack so I can one day leave the fiat mine and pursue that passion full-time with my family.

I owe a lot to so many in the Bitcoin space.

The list goes on and on for dozens of you that I didn’t mention.

Bitcoin and Nostr have given me hope for a better future for my kids. Cheers to all of us working together to be the change we want to see in this world in the little time that God has given us 🥂

Welcome fellow lurker. Or lurker no more I should say. I normally only post something about once a week, that seems about right for me for now. These guys have made a massive impact on my life as well!

If this was in Boston, then yes, absolutely. One of the rich families wanted an upgrade to their commute to the golf range.

Who wants to bet the replacement bridge will be built with some sort of 'express lane'.

Hello everyone, I've been here for a while. In my car I got banned from Twitter too many times.

It's great to see do many of you embracing freedom technologies!

May your journey here be one of pleasure, excitement, and not controlled by anyone. Oh, and have fun zapping, there really is nothing else like it 💐

With all that money printing, unless you get a 7% raise every year, you are talking home less purchasing power. Then, when you get to retirement, all of that saved money in sociall security, or your IRA, or 401k, are also dropping in purchasing power by 7% each year. While you are working, you think you'll have a good retirement. When you get there, there numbers are large, but they are small compared to what you actually need. They are even stealing your retirement!

It has been incredibly tough to go through the last few years. It's only through conviction that many of us are still here. And yes it does feel good.

At the same time, I see the average person suffering. The ones who are so far away from all of this, that they can't even see it. The guy working 2 or 3 jobs and has no chance to understand what is happening.

I am happy to see Bitcoin succeed, but I am also sad that so many people need to suffer the fist collapse. Like they said in the big short, just don't dance.
