I really enjoyed reading this. It's such a good mental image!
1/2 situp to get out of bed, other half to be completed when I go to sleep.
So, yes.
I had to dump my feminist/queer wife. (same thing these days, really.)
What brand heat tape did you use? Has it been reliable?
I know writing takes longer, but, I like reading about people's travels. I'm not saying you should share, but if you did, I'd love to hear about your adventures in places I'll likely never be!
I've got a bit in electric fireplace that prevents it from getting that cold. Coupled with the furnace, it's pretty darn good.
I always have at least one spare bottle ready to go, and one of the things on my list is a monitor for the tank levels.
I was looking at doing that for mine, but, that's too much work right now.
I think brawls in congress should be an official thing.
Good morning. Coffee is gross and requires Stockholm syndrome to drink it regularly.
Given how cold it has been getting in my part of the world, I'm very happy with my water delivery system. I have two (because I didn't check the length I needed, like an idiot...) Camco heated hoses. My BIL added a spigot and outlet on the side of the house closest to the trailer. Before I added the second hose, water was slow to flow first thing in the morning, meaning, something (likely the filter) was close to freezing. Since I have the whole connection heated, everything works very well, effective with temps down to almost 20*F (not quite -10*C, IIRC).
I have decided to NOT install any skirting this winter. I want to know the limits of what my trailer are, and since I don't need to worry about the water lines freezing now, my only concern would be the waste tanks freezing. We'll see if that happens.
I'm still surprised at how cozy my trailer is. I thought I'd need to "make do" fit a few years, but, it's nicer than many of the places I've lived.
