Taking a brief nostr break 🫂 see y’all soon

Today, my husband had an early morning appointment. He hasn’t left the house in a while because he’s post op and I was very excited to get him in the car so I could starfish in bed.

We have 3 dogs that sleep with us and he’s a thrasher so I typically have a small triangle of territory that I have to defend with my life.

Anyways, I starfished for about 20 minutes and started getting very uncomfortable by the silence.

Point is, I already miss him. Marriage is weird. Oh and if you don’t know what starfishing is, here’s a reference:

Good morning ☀️

Had a dream I woke up next to a man who turned out to be my husband. He was a teacher of some kind. We were holding each other, laughing together, listening to the birds sing. Everything was gold cos we were lying in a patch of sun. Our eyes locked and he leaned over and kissed me on the forehead. Then I woke up. I think that might be the best dream I’ve ever had. I know it’s not real, but it made me really happy

Today is going to be a beautiful day.

We are the resistance. The technical hurdles for Nostr are a heathy and low barrier against bots and npc’s and the fact that we can’t edit, delete, or remove posts is incentive to think before you speak and ties up the censorship regime.

People in massive social media platforms are herded around for a reason. Forcing people to think and be technically proficient is a path for more heathy online systems.

I think 4 months no alcohol now 🤔. Not that i usually drink much (if at all), but it is hard going out with friends and saying no all the time. They think I’m such a square. But what they don’t know, is that I’m actually a rhombicosidodecahedron.
