Bitcoiner since #2013; #Father of 3 sons; #Libertarian; #Christian; Bitcoin is the brute force of #capitalism. Love the potential for #spacetravel

You β€œget” Bitcoin at the price you deserve and it is never too late to buy Bitcoin. This was me at a JOVD Congres meeting in November 2013 pitching Bitcoin to Willem Middelkoop. At that time he was not interested as many others. I had no money to pay for a barber, but I was able to spend a little bit of money to buy my first piece of Bitcoin. still I am humbled by the fact that I could see the potential back then, but never had the courage to buy a little bit more.

inspiring story at #adoptingbitcoin about Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador! 😎🧑

On my way to Arnhem for #adoptingbitcoin. looking forward to seeing some real Bitcoiners like nostr:npub1l77twp5l02jadkcjn6eeulv2j7y5vmf9tf3hhtq7h7rp0vzhgpzqz0swft 😎🧑

Same here, I really liked your idea to use local relays.

Just back from a #Nostr meetup at Seats to meet near Utrecht CS. Learned a lot of new things and met some new very interesting people! Afterwards also enjoyed an official #Bitcoin beer paid for by #lightning 🧑😎

https://youtu.be/z7GWTk-HCS0?si=kqDhTh3kbcVbvD9b Brilliant conversation as it is an honest discussion about almost everyone starting with Bitcoin is making a lot of mistakes. It really takes time and many mistakes before you get to a deeper understanding.

Yes I bought my first BTC in 2013, but wow, did I make mistakes with exchanges, shitcoins, not buying enough, but most importantly not seeing Bitcoin for what it is, an exit strategy from this fiat-world, harnessing all the good energy from capitalism!

Dear Nostr community,

This is my first Nostr post. Why First Millennial BTC? Current consensus is that the earliest millennials are born in 1982, like me :)

I'm a Bitcoiner since 2013, but I'm a very risk-averse person so it took me a while to build up the BTC stash I have now. For reference I am adding a printscreen of the first Bitcoin purchase I have made: half a Bitcoin for 35 euro (wishing I would have bought more πŸ˜‚)

Also I have made a lot of mistakes over time, but learning every cycle, the amount of BTC in my portfolio is now over 80%.

Also, I am a father of 3 sons (all under the age of 7) who I am all learning what is Bitcoin. My oldest son is so convinced that he said he will never sell his Bitcoin!

At this moment I still have a fiat job, but I hope in about 4-5 years I can stop doing that and earn my income in another way than the wage slave.

Bitcoin has changed my life in many ways, Bitcoin really changes you, it is difficult for me to spend my money knowing that every euro spent could have been invested in Bitcoin. I think I have personally β™₯️&🧑 pilled over 100 people. I have also seen that getting into Bitcoin helps people waking up to the reality our world is facing.

My dream is to become fully financially independent and start a family business with my wife and 3 sons, together with my Christian believe I cannot think of a more fulfilling life.

Thanks to @npub1l77twp5l02jadkcjn6eeulv2j7y5vmf9tf3hhtq7h7rp0vzhgpzqz0swft for πŸ’œpilling me!

By the way, the above message was my #introduction looking forward to the Nostr event in Utrecht next week nevent1qqsgdqpv0hvz3xv3562d09ume75naq9zd60nswtdxcx8hg0tg3ycylcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqzyqrvk0j4gr2l7l7yvusw5e6x2e5ufa2zqm6hh0rp6x2zm90xvgnc6qcyqqqqqqg50lmg9
