I find alot of it to be a matter of perception on multiple levels of existence almost.
This is why I love parks center ed around ‘granny’ gardens. Plants of every species and genus with special care taken towards all of them.

I saw that film three times in a week. Story was okish I guess but with the soundtrack accompanying it and suspension of disbelief... it was like suddenly having synathesia!
I had the CD of Alive somewhere. The booklet that came with all CD's was/is great. Has a picture of the duo in their triangle and the amount of actual serious hardware running around, shit!
Yeah I run my own hardware too. Currently one Raspi4 8gb... and a decent Intel NUC. The NUC just went down recently though sadly but otherwise has been incredibly stable and FAST! i7 + 32gb + SSD + Gigabit makes it a very smooth experience!

Sadly I'm not a father yet but I know I've had some of the most contemplative childhood and adult moments because of Calvin & Hobbes. The commentary on so many fronts speaks volumes to me about the almost socially-nihilistic yet beautiful landscape surrounding the world of C&H and ultimately, Watterson.
The fine line drawn between imagination and reality spoke so much to me as a child about how precious time is.
