I've been listening to Annie Jacobsen's new book Nuclear War A Scenario. You can listen to it free on Spotify if you are a subscriber. Any one else read/reading it? I'm about half way through. It's probably the most terrifying book I've ever read. Faced with the prospect of nuclear war all other human problems are absolutely nothing. It is completely insane that humans have so many nuclear weapons, and even though it is likely impossible, every effort should be made to rid the earth of them. No humans should have the power to destroy the world.

If you are curious but not sure if you want to take the plunge she's been doing a media blitz to promote the book so she's probably already been on some podcast you like. I recommend her interview with Dan Carlin specifically about this book, or Danny Jones, if you prefer an interview who is kind of a dummy, where they also get into a lot of material from her previous books.
