Welp. Another trip around the sun today.

My din-din tonight. With sautéed mushrooms.

Looks like "Building back trust" is working.

It's a sight to behold, watching those who didn't trust the government, just a few months ago. Now trusting the government. 🤷‍♂️

Looked it up.

Million BTU’s per cord

Douglas Fir 22.5

Red Alder 19.5 This is a Western hardwood.

That's kind of weird. But then you are on #nostr! So there is that! 🤣

Good question. 🤷‍♂️ The only hardwood that I've ever burned in the past was Ash.

That's awesome you have access to a mill. I'm thinking of picking up one of those little chainsaw mills, for no more then I'd need. Of course, I'll have to get me a more powerfull saw. Looking at either a 372xp or 572xp right now. Local is the way.

Score. A guy I use to do a little defensive clearing with said if I want to cut this up that I can have the pile and use his splitter if I want. This is top dollar in my area. Douglas Fir is the hardest of our softwoods and there is a pile of Scrub Oak behind it.

Elk backstreet fried in bacon grease with melted butter on top and eggs. That it.

I haven't had a lot of luck purple pilling. I've switched up tactics. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks. I'm good, I can live for months as is and I'm east of there also.

Everywhere west of there all the way to the west coast. Salt Lake City, and Reno are the big population centers before the west coast. 80 goes into Sacremento and then San Francisco.

It's hard to say how long, I suppose it'll depend on what was being hauled on the semi's.
