I did it. Deactivated my X accounts. I’ve had mine since Twitter was created. It’s scary but I did it.
I’m super surprised after all that pain I endured yesterday was gone when they took the drainage tube out. Instant relief after the instant pain but man, what a difference! I could run a marathon! (Not really, but that’s how I felt.)
Surgery successful but in a lot of pain. Slowly but surely.

In crafting news, I’m working on a scarf that has Ravenclaw colors with a twist, cuz it’s not pure blue and bronze. I found this heathered(?) tweed yarn from Loops & Threads & looked like a fun yarn to use for this project. Stay tuned. If I have some yarn left over, I might make a matching beanie.

Doing my last part of my pre-surgery check in yesterday: a CHEST x-ray. I did a front & side x-ray. The front was good but tech hesitated on the side one.
Tech: what surgery are you doing again?
Me: *gestures at my CHEST* a thymectomy
Tech: *looks at my x-ray* that’s for the KNEE, right?
Me: 🤨
Surgery on Monday for my hyperparathyroidism due to my calcium levels being too high. Instead of in my throat area, it moved to my chest area (thymus). All I’m excited about is that I’ll have another great nap. And hospital food. Don’t diss the hospital food. They’re scrumptious.
So I joined a diabetic clinical trial at my endocrinologist‘s office. I got the Mounjaro one. I’m so glad I got in because M is sooo expensive, even with my insurance. We’ll see how it goes.
This is wild. I know this guy, too, from church. It’s crazy and sad.
I would go on to say that my aunt/uncle uses the BBCE method (beef, bacon, butter, and eggs).

A friend of mine started keto first before moving on to carnivore. An aunt and uncle are now carnivores from Atkins and they’ve said nothing but good things about it (lost weight, lowered their triglycerides and lowered blood pressure).

It was also unnerving to hear the debate moderators say “Mr. President” to DT. Is this the norm? I’m not familiar with US politics as much but shouldn’t it be “Former Mr. President?” I didn’t hear “former” at all or I might have missed it.

Then he went: KH should go to the White House and do what she said she’s going to do RIGHT NOW
KH missed the opportunity to say: I’m not president yet.
I’ve had mine since Sept 2007. I’m not there often anyway but I’d like to keep my name there for posterity.
Seeing the initial X posts about the live debate yesterday got me thinking some paid trolls are saying that DT was winning the debate but hearing about immigrants eating pets coming out of his mouth…are you sure? 🤔
