Not one of our most well-known Bitcoiner leaders/heros, but Gregg says some really good things not usually heard in our community. I really appreciate him integrating all aspects of human life, especially the "spiritual" (definition of this word is arbitrary and constantly redefined in society), in his discourse.

From what I know from Gregg's work and what he represents, he is not referring to the scams that we're all familiar with when he uses the word DeFi in this video. For lack of a better word to describe how I experience life, I also use "spirit" to mean "all of me," and in this sense, I resonate with "spiritual enlightenment is the only one true enlightenment."
Our language reveals our beliefs in the possibility of experiencing life in different and separate ways, namely, physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, though I cannot imagine any one experience I have to not be a total experience that encompasses all these four realms and more that I don't have words for. Nevertheless, I am also witnessing the collective shifting to a more integrated experience of self. I feel that I am living in one of the most exciting times of transformation, where we question everything from God, to aliens, to money, to climate change.
How are #Nostr and #Bitcoin a part of this transformation? I appreciate the discussion. ๐

In Chinese and Japanese language, one of the ideograms that represent "think" is ๆ. The top part of the character ็ฐ means "paddy fields" and ๅฟ means "heart". In these languages, "thinking" is an activity that involves the heart. Did this character come into being because "thinking" for the ancient Chinese is what is feels like when one is contemplating with the heart while looking at the paddy fields in the distance? Mmm... I can feel that. ๐พโค๏ธ๐

But it would certainly be something that we could look into and see if there are any clues as to what we should pay attention to. I often think about the world we live in, with all its ills and beauty, and what we can do to improve it for all earthlings. Embarked on #healing my wounds that clouded my sight, practiced different kinds of #meditation and #hypnosis to be able to have an open, honest dialogue with myself, swam with #whales, #dolphins, #mantas, #turtles, #whalesharks and realized that interspecies communication is not only possible but awe-inspiring, discovered #bodyalignment in gravity as an honest feedback mechanism, and finally found #Bitcoin. #Bitcoin is not the solution to all humanity's issues, but can certainly catapult the solutions.
The #Buddha lived at a time when the world was not better than it is today, and within that he found a way to peace, harmony, joy, love, and equanimity. He encapsulated the path in the Noble Eightfold Path. #Bitcoin helps directly with the first 5 of the practices, but the last 3 are up to us to decide to include in our daily life.
I would love to start a conversation with #Bitcoiners about the relevance, or lack of, that they feel about the other issues that #Bitcoin doesn't fix, as illustrated in the image, and how we as #Bitcoiners can become leaders in these aspects as well.
