LFG!

Thank you to #[0] #[1] #[2] for implementing the data and we look forward to maintaining this map as well as we can.

To all Einundzwanzig meetups: please reach out to me if anything is off or you’re unhappy with your area. We will get it all sorted out!

Someone requested an RSS Feed for the Einundzwanzig news portal.

🔗 Here is the link: https://portal.einundzwanzig.space/feed.

If you have any problems, let me know.

The RSS reader app that you see in this screenshot is called Fluent Reader.

On Ubuntu focal

docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: runc create failed: unable to start container process: error during container init: unable to apply apparmor profile: apparmor failed to apply profile: write /proc/self/attr/apparmor/exec: no such file or directory: unknown.

Maybe installing the package "apparmor" helps...

This is not a bug of the relay software, but it affects the latest Docker Engine version. I think the relay operators will be able to handle it.

wow, new docker engine version broke everything.

it seems to be a new bug (20hrs old)

fix: apt-get install -y --allow-downgrades docker-ce=5:20.10.23~3-0~ubuntu-focal

I have deleted my Twitter account; it simply no longer serves a purpose and I prefer to spend my time here. 🤜🤛

🎉 Here is the entire world map with all the bookcases.

💊 At the points in orange, someone has already been there and left an entry.

🔑 When you zoom in, you can click on one point and the respective item will open in the table. Logged-in users can then leave their entry there.

Mit DEM berühmten OrangedMike? 😎

Nice, dass er für dich Zeit gefunden hat 🙃 😏

It is now possible to share a landing page for each Meetup event.

Guests and logged-in users can confirm their participation with a click of a button, or cancel it.

There is also a comment box, but it is only visible to logged-in users.

This way, Meetup organizers have a better overview of the number of participants.

Thanks @René Aaron for this great idea.

GeoJSON-Helper is now online:

Thank you so much to @secondl1ght for all the cool PRs. Thanks to you, we also have a Dark Mode enabled by default. Communities can now more easily generate GeoJSON Areas and register them on BTCmap.org with the tool.

This open source software helps you build simplified areas/polygons for applications like BTCmap.org. This is needed for communities/meetups, for example.

We now have tools to extract OSM data.

Search results for a city or state are shown.

Then the correct result can be selected.

The polygons from OSM are loaded and afterwards you can fine-tune the number of points with mapshaper.

An API request is also made to Wikipedia and this way we can select results for the population number.

I'm currently importing all OSM data to prepare a transfer of all meetups to BTCmap.

BTCmap needs Areas, so we have to build polygons from our points on the map.

I'm curious to see how this can be automated as well as possible.
