Gotta love the diversity and uniqueness on Nostr. I don't know what is it about ferns that's so refreshing - love them! This place not only has a nice cozy interior design, but when you scroll through, nostr:npub176fgmexll8d6t2nf2cpdm4fz0ajfcegxz8yte8680p5wnhyaya5s89wkdn 's pictures are all just amazing. They do not get the engagements they deserve but they never degrade in quality of pics and posts - that's pretty amazing. I'd love to see something like this get more visibility

Resilience

In life, rarely would you come across people who bring out the best version of yourself, but when you do, hold them close and appreciate them. I also realised that while it’s important to keep the positive energy close, it’s just as important to remove yourself from the equations of negative energies. Do what works best for you so that you can be the best version of yourself everyday.

First week of the new year always starts slow, engine can’t seem to start after a long year end gap lol. Second week onwards is often stronger and full force. Hope everyone has a positive year and see many fruits of your labour this year ❤️

One of those things I like about YT is that it recommends topics similar to what you search for - so I get a lot of globally popular high-protein diet recipes I would not have otherwise known it existed let alone where to look for. Unfortunately, it does too much of it and it gets overwhelming, and that's when the term “algo” gets popular.

The thing is, every source code has its algorithm. Algorithms are just step-by-step instructions. The ones that tend to psychology affect you in ways you did not allow them to are what becomes red alert 🔴 and that picked up on the branding name “algo”.

What would be ideal is if you could train your algo to be your butler, your personal assistant. You can do something similar with an AI-based system - you either let it control you, or you control it - so long as the system’s backend is not tuned to propagate the answers that someone else wants it to be.

If the social media side can give you the topics you enjoy, then it's going to be a big win. But there are 2 things to this, well 3. One is that the UI UX has to be engaging enough for users to want to train their algo because it's a new concept to them. Second, the system itself has to be smart. Third, someone has to build it - with users in mind - and keep tuning it with user feedback until it reaches an optimal level

What often becomes a put off is when people bitch about things non stop rather than be a positive contribution

when things don't work out, you can whine, be a cry baby and find the easy way out - find something else that is easy OR get fucking creative, try and if it doesn't work, try harder

the responses to this are fucking hilarious. There's a diff between marketing hype and a prolonged topic. have a cook off if you want, a fantasy football week, anything goes. whomever your target audience is.
