I'm battling with an invalid signature installing Unraid on an old thinkcenter I bought from Goodwill.

Has anyone had this weird problem? I've heard Cosmos is good, but I really like the robust functions of unraid.

What else is on the market that you like for VPN, dynamicDNS, container management via gui, VMs, multi sized drive for data redundancy, most importantly, BTC Pay Server.

Two approaches I recommend for small business/entrepreneur types to accept their Bitcoin privately:

Approach #1) Run your own node:

This can be done with several node implementations. The most user-friendly are Start9 and Umbrel in my experience, though I have had great results with Raspiblitz as well. Some reading for Start9 if you have any laptop or computer that has an X86_64 CPU (overwhelming majority of machines on the market today are):

https://docs.start9.com/0.3.5.x/diy/diy-x86

The comprehensive guide for getting started on Umbrel is here, and includes many links depending on your use case (including a section specifically for merchants):

Includes a link to how to set up Umbrel on your own machine:

Approach #2) Run your own BTCPay Server instance

The decision process on setting up a BTCPay Server is a little more convoluted than running your own node directly, but once the setup is complete I find BTCPay Server is a little more straightforward for merchants and eCommerce solutions specifically. Their documentation is very thorough but also can take some time to wade through. I would suggest starting here if going the BTCPay Server route:

Once set up, any of the above solutions should be able to handle payments from Strike without issue, and you'll be fully in control of the sats received.

Ok, thanks. I thought I had to have a channel directly open with the customer or their LSP.

This is an interesting 1. I'm a huge fan of a short, daily stand up to kick off the day for each team (3-10 people) and 1 or 2 weekly org meetings to highlight what each team is doing and anything particularly interesting or complicated.

In a large org, this is critical for mutual accountability (which makes you "toxic" to lazy assholes) and builds huge admiration, dedication, and knowledge for your hard workers. Never let a meeting gor more than 30 mon for the organization amd 15 for the team.

I've found huge operational success with this and huge personal failure as the lazy assholes complain so much about their lack of work making them such obvious pieces of shit, that I've been moved 4/5 times, but the teams continued to win and my best folks always follow me.

This is all from the perspective of a federal organization that simply doesn't fire people but moves them around.

Thank you, that helps. Do you have any reccomended reading? Our use case any community is the non-kyc onboarding at farmer's markets and via p2p interactions.

Basically, how do I male it as easy as opening a Strike wallet without the KYC part and ensuring that person still has their BTC in case nostr:npub1vquf4ptgv70m4jhtkh78sxf9dkuqyt94g7fxqpgdvh0ja44fh8sqpzvzw4 never sees them again.

Help me better understand this.

If I run 3 nodes and use zues or WOS, how do I pay/receive sats from anyone else? If I open a channel with Strike, I'll always be unbalanced, but nobody will be able to pay me if I don't have a channel with a major KYC provider.

What am missing? Also, am I correct in my understanding that there are no on chain transactions when I open/close a channel or rebalance?

Bro, I'm not even 40 and I'm way too jaded. How do I maintained a smile at 50?!?!?

Everyday I wake up is another opportunity to crush it as a dad, husband, and man. God has truly blessed us.

Where can I find documentation that breaks down the fields, commands, cli tools, and fields in the protocol? Looks wonderful, thanks for sharing!

I consistently flip between frustration at myself for ardently pursuing nerd and professional development but am constantly reminded how little I care on days like this.

Screw the millions when you can save enough to get the poor man's dream. What's better than a pool next to a deck I built with Cull lumber in behind of a house I renovated, behind a field that came with the rat ingested house. We will always want more but can always find joy in what we have.

Make it an amazing weekend. Find a local church. If you're single volunteer, if you have a family, attend. Life is better with God.

Ok, #nostrdev #nostr question

I can't find the answer on reddit or documentation. Why do I keep getting "media is too big for nip-95" for my relay but not a public relay? This happens with standard Andrpid pics as well as videos (which makes more sense).

Today my wife and I got a load of fresh fruit and veggies from the local bulk store. For a little more than $200 we got well over $600 in grocery store price.

My older daughter helped me prep it while the younger watched the baby and the wife went to a workout session. These kids will know thrift and self sufficiency.
