Even though I'm not much of a cryptocurrency fan, I set up a lightning address as it seems pretty harmless. Anyways, I'm looking to find if there's any programming enthusiasts on here, particularly pertaining to #retrocomputing and #linux.
Okay, I think I may have found a mildly funny glitch here. I don't if this is client-specific or not, but on Amethyst if you navigate to your own profile and click "Follow", you can actually follow yourself and it counts on your follower count. Anybody else able to do this on other clients?
Okay, so now that I've got the basic part of setting up my profile, I notice three specific options that seem to relate to account/identity verification, for Twitter, Mastodon, and GitHub respectively. What do I need to do to set those up correctly?
Got it. I did read up a bit on Nostr before signing up, so I know to keep my private key stored somewhere safe.
Ace, on Amethyst you can edit your profile by clicking your profile pic to go to your profile page, then click the button on the top right that has three lines with a pen in it. I just figured that out a few minutes ago.
I just figured it out by poking around the UI. Thanks for replying, though. Much appreciated.
I just joined Nostr via the Amethyst client. Trying to figure out how to set my username and profile pic. Can anybody point me to a tutorial?
