I’m now receiving some zaps on my own node through my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm address (thanks for your amazing job and for all you are doing for the LN and nostr place Alby team).
But I had to cook a custom macaroon (no idea what it is, basically some kind of authorization access to my node, but not all my node of course) with Thunderhub, to achieve this important goal, nothing intuitive here.
It’s a shame that there aren’t some basic tutorials for noobs. Devs are doing all they can to bring self sovereign Lightning to the mass, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Many amazing features are often not broadly used by plebs because of a lack of basic explanation linked to it IMO

Ok mais c’est bizarre ça veut dire que ta clé privée est sur un serveur à distance ?

NIP-07 ça concerne les extensions qui permettent de t’identifier et de signer des events sur des web app, sans avoir à entrer ta nsec à chaque fois
Can someone ELI5 #nsecBunker compared to NIP-07 existing extensions ?
Thanks 🙏
Maybe nostr encrypted group chats based on this model for privacy, and a classic nostr approach for more persistent content on the social media part ?
Yes I think if the person is not nip-05 verified, you have this instead showing that you follow the person. If the person is nip-05 verified you have the normal check mark
What does this mean on Damus please ?
Yes done this from the beginning for snort and nostrgram when it was still working but not possible for mobile only apps like Damus , Amethyst or Plebstr.
Yep but it's a matter of principles...
You don't keep states secret in your house and yet you have curtains and maybe a garden hedge. Furthermore you are not keeping state secrets until you are, cause the law changed.
Privacy and encryption should be by default but the tradeoffs (simplicity, fluidity etc ..) are complicated (even if not a really big deal) to be honest, for now
So the apps are not FOSS but the underlying tech is in the case of keet ?

Tried keet few weeks ago and it seemed to work great but it was only me and me on 2 different devices lol
SimpleX is ok but not really better than keet it seems, so far
Du coup la tech sous jacente est FOSS mais pas les apps en elles-mêmes, c'est ce que je dois comprendre pour keet ?

It's just that now it's written in the law so it can be brings in front of a court IMO. The how they do it is more interesting to me though...
