It's still almost free so....And I don't think they are making money or will be before several years in the future, we can't ask much more from them IMO
Graph syncing will be better in the next update @`Roy`said
I just tried to send 212121 sats to Mutiny and it worked well.
But it's really often that I'm having problems like you are experiencing to be fair
I struggle to complain from free FOSS honestly. What all these crazy devs are building with almost no money is remarkable
Is it not a experimental feature ? It's gone live ?
I tried (amouts of 212121 sats) and you are right Alby and Blink work all the time, but impossible to send to Bitkit for example. But it succeeds to reach my own node for some reason (big channel with ACINQ I maybe)...
But still is' strange from a pleb node runner point of view, when our own small nodes can send without any problem and an LSP can't lol
I have regularly the same problems. Add sometimes in miraculously works for some reason...
I never experienced problems to receive but most of the payments I send from it fail, don't know why exactly
So far my experience with nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n Lightning has not been a good one. I now have sats in my wallet that canāt be sent because itās unable to find a route ā not just to my node but to large providers like ACINQ.
Iāve filed a support ticket and hoping Adam Back gives me some white glove service. š nostr:note14xp2at0uffsugv3hgpsfhfwvrwf6tk9dynvk62lx0j6pl7s580ns63v366
Yep it's really unreliable.
Strange coming from a LSP based model and from Blockstream/Breez in particular, and considering that the routing is not made on the phone but online with Greenlight if I understand correctly...The graph synch should be good and reliable no ?
Can someone ELI5 this please ?
Thanks !
It seems fixed now perfect
35 open orders right now in nostr:npub1z94lxjf7m5snda0qc6s3kmpy6r4nfw74h78da9j6j4y8ym08zrrs459wpr and 0.15 BTC exchanged in just one day. Difficult to express how cool is this.
It's great, the main coordinator maintenance doesn't affect much the trading activity, showing that the federation model can work. Nice.
š Are you answering to nostr notes with a AI powered bot ?
You devs are crazy wizards, the answer was pretty accurate.
Still the bot will not solve the https issue alone I guess š
Hey, cool to see that you are part of the Robosats project as a coordinator.
Is it normal that the webpage of satstralia appears as non safe ? Like http rather than https. Even through TOR we get a warning message. Just to let you know.
Me too.
Big part of it is because of Mutiny that I've been testing for few weeks now, and the potential of nostr+Bitcoin working together even if there are still big challenges ahead of us, and trade offs...
Self custodial Lightning already work incredibly well through LSPs, even if the LN doomers argue the contrary.
For the more sovereign of us there are already pretty decent solutions not even depending on LSPs (Umbrel & Co) and even mobile ones that are already usable and will continue to improve over time I'm sure.
We have some "L3" solutions already emerging with Ecash protocols...
Honestly it's huge, given the very small number of Bitcoin/LN active users and the very small amount of money spend to support devs in these fields.
LN has come from oversold to over hated. We have pretty good years ahead even without covenants to improve it.
Isn't enforcing morality the only goal of The State ?
Violence is immoral (out of self defense of course), it's the only thing that we have to make illegal, and the only thing that a State should be concerned about.
As Frederic Bastiat states in his essay "The Law":
- "the law is only the collective organization of self defense", he says
So basically the only question we should ask ourselves is if the non aggression principle is violated, and that is obviously subject to interpretation depending on the context, and the judge himself, the juries etc...
There is no perfect answer to that, but the State is responsible of enforcing morality, but not defining in the first place. Morality is defined naturally then leading to the natural law/rights principles.
I would say not true at all
Will it work well for a bet « on the long runĀ Ā» like « will the Maldives will be underwater in 15 yearsĀ Ā» ? Because the nostr notes need to be kept in storage by at least a relay for 15 years for the thing to work right. Or it means that itās the responsability of the « superposition creatorĀ Ā» to run a nostr relay in order to keep the notes always reachable ?
For the « fedimintĀ Ā» DLCs, donāt we loose all the benefits of DLCs as we donāt have the custody of the funds ? I mean what would be the advantages compared to using a traditional centralized bets platform ?
Are you bullish on keet and the underlying protocol, and what do you think about the fact that it's not open source ?
Are we talking about someone in particular?
Just another shade of socialism/communism
Nothing new, these people are fed with these crazy ideas from the start.
Only the luckiest who are given early the antidote (mostly by their parents) and the love for freedom, and those with more empathy and honesty for some reasons, are able to take the red pill and stop being parasites.
