I’ve tried all sorts of productivity tricks over the years. Some worked to some extent (like waking up early for example), but majority didn’t.

One “trick” that I found to work almost every time when applicable is to “just do it”.

I know it sounds stupid simple, but surprisingly a lot of people put off “just do it” and make up all sorts of weird procedures, steps to get things done. And that’s not to say that those things don’t work, but I found this other thing to work better, faster.

What do I mean by “just do it?” Instead of making to-do lists, or using timers to tackle hard projects, reverse the process and just go for the biggest, meanest, most intimidating part of the project. Throw away to-do lists and timers and just jump right into the toughest parts with brute force, determination, and if helps, lots of caffeine and high energy music. This is what has worked for me. I think the biggest key to all of this is to not think about any of it. Not a single thought, no plans, just jump into it RIGHT NOW and tackle everything you need to do to get it done in no particular order.

Instead of aiming for months, aim for hours. I know… sounds crazy but that’s what I found to give me the biggest productivity boosts. Use existing solutions if applicable to speed up the process. Don’t build it all from scratch (though sometimes this is necessary). Use stuff that saves you time, processes that are scalable. I don’t know what that looks like development-wise, but I can name all the power features for designing stuff.

It’s not always applicable because there are days when you don’t have big chunks of things to work on and to-do lists are on the agenda. That’s totally fine, knock out the to-do’s one by one.

Curious if anyone else takes this approach?

A quick to do list is necessary for me, just because if I don't do it I tend to forget what I have to do after I finished a task 😅

So it helps me to quickly move on to the next task, rather than wondering what I actually have to do next, and forgetting half of it and their respective priority...

Otherwise yeah I agree, the "just do it" technique works.

You fight procrastination directly, and it starts a virtuous circle, in which the urge to procrastinate is lower and lower. It's like fightning an addiction by just "not eating", "not drinking", "not smoking" etc... It's hard, but it works.

Why not have a totally custom feed algorithm where you can rate people from 1 to 10 depending on how important their activity on Nostr is to you? And the higher the score of a profile is set, the more often they appear in your feed, or something like that

If tainted coins are forbidden, you can easily understand that all Monero coins will be considered as tainted too...

Then it's just a matter of are you able to keep your privacy good enough with Bitcoin which is harder than Monero but not so hard tbh...

I'm trying the Satscard from nostr:npub1wu4aye7ll0lnrrg638e90sehzsgpzx5t39t3mwl05aa0d0ap08esdz3vw0 for the first time, and I have to say that it's an amazing product. The workflow is simple and flawless so far, it's a shame that no wallet out of nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 (and Sparrow) supports it.

3 questions from those of you who may know, or if Coinkite or Nunchuk see this:

- is the code allowing the Satscard open source, meaning that if I was a dev I could create my own Satscard by buying a basic NFC card and using the available code to transform it into a workable Satscard ?

- if Coinkite disappear, do all the Satscard suddenly become useless ?

- I understand that depositing funds on an unsealed slot address is not safe because a previous bearer could still own the private key of the slot.

But what if I send funds on an old unsealed slot address by mistake ? Can I still easily spend the funds through the Nunchuk app ?

Thanks

A bit more now maybe due to the tidal effect

Still no news of Tdev… really really strange

Lot’s of people are caring tbh but I agree not enough.

#WHEREISTDEVD is not widely shared by big accounts it’s a bit sad and strange.

It’s been a month now, but I ‘ve heard from friends that in some cases it’s not so unusual that you don’t hear from an arrested people for few weeks even for the family, due to some judiciary shit.

I hope we will have news soon

Hum, seems you are one of the morons you are angry about.

Stay calm dude.

Just count how many times you get jabbed 10 times in a row in your head silently, and come back giving us your insights about freedom and all.
