For me nostr:nprofile1qyw8wumn8ghj76r0v3kxymmy9e3k7unpvdkx2tn5dahkcue0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uqzprkgdty7zztenxr9yp5wu6cqygacuvn942anlc50k6emdc554hykrmjrrn doesn't work anymore since a week.
I can connect but i've got a never ending message :
"We're having a hard time finding your profile.
You can also skip this step, but be aware that your profile and relays may not get properly synchronized."
And i can't see any notes with coracle anymore. Just my profile.
I don't know if it is a coracle issue or the relay it use by default, or if i am banned ??
Sounds like a relay selections problem, try "skipping this step" and setting your relays back up in the relays tab. Make sure to choose relays that will accept your notes

🛶 Coracle 0.5.0 has (finally) arrived!
The focus of this release is, well, focus. This is a huge release, with lots of improvements to existing features — and the removal of a few thousand lines of code.
Some quick highlights:
- "Undo" via delayed send can be enabled in Coracle's settings. This allows you to quickly correct those typos you notice just as you press "send".
- Login and onboarding have been completely re-worked to walk the delicate balance between flexibility/security and a comprehensible UX.
- Feeds are now faster, especially relay-based feeds. The controls for feeds should also be incrementally improved.
- The note create/reply inputs are now powered by nostr-editor for a smoother editing experience (thanks nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef0qyvhwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnndehhyapwwdhkx6tpdshszyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9ekk7mf0qqsvvcpmpuwvlmrztkwq3d6nunmhf6hh688jw6fzxyjmtl2d5u5qr8scuwrt7!)
- The HUD (which you can access in the left sidebar on desktop) now has information about relay connections and NOTICE messages.
In other news, groups, calendars, and marketplaces are gone 😭. The good news is that feeds are better, and will continue to get improved — including render support for (almost) any nostr event. If you're very attached to NIP 72 communities or NIP 89 private groups (R.I.P 🪦), you can still access the previous version of Coracle at https://groups.coracle.social. Or, if you want BETTER GROUPS, give https://flotilla.social a try (NIP 29 compatibility coming soon)!
Support for sending NIP 04 messages has also been removed this release (you'll still be able to read messages you've received).
Thank you to nostr:nprofile1qydhwumn8ghj7cmgwfhku6trd3jjuer5dahx7m3wvdhk6tcpr3mhxue69uhkxmm4de68y6t9wvhxv6tpw34xze3wvdhk6tcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tcprfmhxue69uhhq7tjv9kkjepwve5kzar2v9nzucm0d5hsz9thwden5te0wahhgtnyw3hkummw9e3k7mf0qqs8hhhhhc3dmrje73squpz255ape7t448w86f7ltqemca7m0p99spgu48ecu for your design input, and nostr:nprofile1qydhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn0wfskuem9wp5kcmpwv3jhvtcpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9uq3vamnwvaz7tm9v3jkutnwdaehgu3wd3skuep0qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn4w3ejucmpwd5z7qgnwaehxw309ac82unsd3jhqct89ejhxtcqyp489kuw70emnmj7ekqga4ksvvw3unw6t3w6murcsugy6vu406aysfnw37u for doing the heavy lifting on this release!
Anybody having issues with nostr:npub13myx4j0pp9uenpjjq68wdvqzywuwxfj64welu28mdvaku222mjtqzqv3qk ? Haven't been able to load the website since yesterday, even though nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm seems to be signed in.
Hey, just saw this — has this cleared up or are you still having issues?
🦬 Please welcome my friend Coracle v0.4.3 to the nostrverse.
You can now support development by setting up a default zap split for the "platform" (aka me). Do this at App Settings > Platform Zap Split. The default is of course zero, so this is entirely opt-in.
In other news, you can now create invite links ("Create Invite" under the profile menu) with default follows, relays, and groups. The relays and groups can optionally include a "claim" to automatically grant access. No one currently supports these claims, but I have built a custom relay that does, so please reach out if you'd like to set something like this up.
I've also applied liberal amounts of shellac (thanks to nostr:nprofile1qyd8wumn8ghj7ur4wfshv6tyvyhxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qghwaehxw309ashgmrpwvhxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgkwaehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvshsqgrmmmmmugka3evlgcqwq3922wsul966nhrayl04svauwldhsjjcq559uwpr for his design work) — in particular, the WoT indicator is now prettier, and hopefully more useful. Orange arcs indicate people you follow, while white arcs are people you don't follow. The more people who you follow also follow a given person, the bigger the arc will be. I also hope you notice my stroke of genius in orienting the arcs the same way as Coracle's logo.

New release is out! What nostr:nprofile1qyfhwumn8ghj7mmxve3ksctfdch8qatz9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshszxthwden5te0dphkgmrzdajzumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcqyztuwzjyxe4x2dwpgken87tna2rdlhpd02va5cvvgrrywpddnr3jyhdw0my failed to mention is that this new release comes with many new varieties of spinners, including a loading indicator when searching profiles.

🐪 Got a new release of Coracle for you all! Lots in this one, but somehow I still didn't hit all my milestones 🤔
Just a couple things to flag (full change log is at the bottom as usual):
- You can now edit and delete calendar events and listings. Listings also have a new "status" field so you can set it to sold. Upvote the PR to get this into the protocol here: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/1009
- Tons of improvements to closed groups make them vaguely usable, rather than mostly unusable. Part of this involved a new event kind 1060 that wraps events the same way as described in NIP 59, but using NIP 04 encryption. I don't encourage the use of this, it's only temporary until signers have NIP 44 support.
- I fixed a bug where if you're logged in with your private key rather than an extension and create a new conversation, it will automatically send a new-style DM without an option to use the old format. If this describes you, check to make sure your messages went through!

I'm sick to death of seeing airdrop spam and this is piss compared to what is coming.
Turning the other cheek doesn't mean walking into the crowd of pharisees to be ridiculed.
You can already mute both profiles and messages (use the microphone icon). Block is impossible on nostr.
New release of Coracle is out! Mostly bugfixes again, but I'm personally very excited about this release because I no longer have to moderate user provided media content — I'm farming it out to the team at nostr:nprofile1qqsfnz2sqsflkatdssmeztxr90s8xrd7r07xkhfwaa6eu9zkcguljpgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3kamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwdmkjumn94jku6t8d4sjucmgx9sv8m instead. Gender identity is an invention of postmodernism, which seeks to break down every restraint on human desire. God's word cannot be broken, he made the world in a particular way that we are in rebellion against, and it's only through Christ that we can be spared his righteous judgment.
You could do both, charge for hosting, pay out for engagement. The latter half of that would be challenging with nostr though.
Only if all users have to pay. If you charge power users (more than x posts a day, huge social graph, many images) you can fund the infrastructure and keep the platform free for plebs. This model would support infuencers who want to build a social business without shoving advertising down everyone's throat.
