Hell, #Rexall isn't much cheaper either. As always, you really gotta shop around, convenience has a cost & SDM is a convenience store that so happens to operate a #pharmacy...

Good grief. I cannot imagine 'artificial intelligence' will make dealing with the federal government any easier, since *actual* intelligence is already sufficiently questionable, eg: blaming citizens for data theft when CRA records are breached, etc. 🙄

The #Canadian federal government announces that they're pivoting to being "digital first" and "digital by design".
The newly appointed Citizens' Services minister, Terry Beech pointed out that being digital first doesn't mean there won't be in-person services but people can get services completely online.
He said that in the near future Canadians wouldn't need to go to the Passport Office to get their passports renewed.

So after trying #BlueSky for a bit, decided to check out #Nostr. Here are some quick 1st impressions:
Cryptobros galore, oh my!
ActivityPub-Nostr bridge is pretty neat, makes the network more interesting. Though, getting post from #ActivityPub seems broken.
Quite slow, highly dependent on relay performance
Love the concept, takes the decentralized concept to another lvl.
Overall experience needs more work, kinda disjointed.
Lack of moderation, you're kinda on your own..
