Learning more about privacy helps me move away from mainstream social media and big tech (e.g., Apple), but I have a hard time striking a balance between security and convenience when it comes to safeguarding my family's data.
Although I bet it would be to a whole other degree, is that something you've encountered with your family as well? How did you approach safeguarding their privacy without clashing too hard with their expectation for convenience?
I can't expect them all to switch to QubeOS, PinePhone, and Mastodon, but I would like to gently steer them away from Apple and mainstream social media.
