This same thought hit me at the start of COVID, so I did a lot of research, simplified the heck out of it and now have a simple sweet black coffee process. Happy to share (spoiler alert I use an #AeroPress). #coffeechain

It definitely uses the battery a lot. Also the storage is steep. Primal uses the battery less but too much stuff to work out

Agreed. Waiting for the Damus note deck to drop to public plebs. I need a multi column desktop client. I’ve been trying to like Rabbit but it’s nuts.

Primal has the feeds and the saved custom searches. But Damus is better. Faster. Direct read from the relays. No missed notifications or mentions. When you reply to multiple npubs it doesn’t drop the reply tags. Feels more polished.

Damus is my favorite iOS option. However, it is proving to be a MASSIVE battery suck.

Just made a very hard decision; my financial/marital life (which I have spent years of work positioning for success) or the well-being of someone who has no value for their own life.

Putting it in that perspective doesn't make it sound as hard as it was.
