It can, but many users have found it difficult to use OBS to stream to an Icecast server (which is what the Podhome streaming server is)

I know free is nice, but you need to take your podcast seriously.
Spotify retains the rights to reproduce your content (for instance in different languages, or otherwise), and can and will censor you. We (and RSSBlue) do not.
When you do not host at a modern podcast hosting platform, and use Fountain to make your podcast “boostable” and “zappable”, the lightning information is not stored in your RSS feed, but somewhere else.
This works for Fountain, but other modern apps like Podverse and CurioCaster are likely to not look for that magical extra information anymore, and will just look at what’s in your feed, making it so that listeners can’t boost your podcast from any app but Fountain.
Choose wisely. Spotify is a shitcoin.
