I Marched off of Twitter and other social media in March and mostly lurked here on Nostr. I popped back into Twitter/ FB this past week and there’s just something off about those platforms. It reminds me of when smoking was banned in bars and restaurants. For a while, I’d walk into one of the these bars and they just felt off, with the stale smoke in their air for months. Maybe that’s it—staleness, but also a wrongness because everyone knew it’s stale because the prior reality was distorted through of an act of manipulation.
When life shows up in your body, you just have to get out of the way and let that shit wake you up. That’s when you don’t need to go big because you are already home!!
