Lifestyle gurus constantly push fad diets, supplements, and exercise regimens for longevity, but I rarely ever hear them talk about building community with other people as a way to promote wellness even though there’s research showing loneliness/social isolation can increase the risk of premature death or other conditions such as dementia.
Therapy is important, but many clients have misconceptions about the process, and some of these misconceptions are perpetuated by providers. This is an interesting article examining the role of therapy in client’s lives.

Companies should not be allowed to sell consumer data period, and there should stiff penalties for data breaches. If there wasn’t a financial incentive in sharing consumer data, then data brokers wouldn’t have become a thing.
Governments will always find a way to circumvent rules to get a hold of information. This is the whole point of espionage, which has existed since the beginning of time and is not going away anytime soon.
However, companies shouldn’t profit off selling consumer data or freely hand over data to the government without just cause.

I just learned that schools now have Esports teams where kids compete against other schools playing video games. Why is this a thing? If I was a parent, I would oppose school resources and time being wasted on this, but I could be wrong and biased since I hate video games.
The best idea doesn’t always win, and I can think of a few start ups that I feel are bad ideas but extremely popular. Start up success is a combination of things and in some ways arbitrary.
Am I the only one who hates Zoom meetings?
